You have to wonder when they changed that. Pee, what time was this big change? Look at it this way Geoff, you will not have to change your team for tomorrow!

Just more proof that Vinny is wonderful.
Woo hoo! *shakes pom poms.
PHOENIX (AP) -- Vinny Castilla reached two career milestones with one big swing of the bat.
The 37-year-old third baseman hit two of Colorado's five home runs in the Rockies' 9-2 hammering of the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday night.
Castilla's second one -- off reliever Scott Service -- drove in two runs to give him 300 career homers and 1,000 RBIs.
``It's Vinny's night to shine,'' Colorado manager Clint Hurdle said. ``We throw that term `great' around pretty loosely in sports, but when you start putting up numbers like that there's some substance to it.''
Castilla, who also made a pair of smooth plays on defense, quietly is having a standout season after being signed as a free agent by the Rockies.
He has 32 home runs, and his 119 RBIs are just two behind NL leader Scott Rolen.
"It means a lot," Castilla said. "Any time you can hit more than 30 home runs and drive in more than 100, it's a great season. I'm feeling great physically. I don't think I've lost anything defensively or offensively."
Castilla is the 104th player to reach 300 home runs for his career. Earlier this year, he passed Jorge Orta for the most hits by a Mexican-born player.
``I've tried never to take my job for granted. I try to work hard every day, day in and day out,'' Castilla said. ``I have 13 years in the big leagues. To stay here, you have to be very consistent.''
Luis Gonzalez hit a three-run homer off Arizona starter Casey Fossum, then Castilla, Jeromy Burnitz and Brad Hawpe had solo shots off reliever Lance Cormier.
Castilla's second home run of the night -- and 32nd of the season -- drove in two runs off Scott Service.
It was Castilla's fourth multihomer game of the season and 32nd of his career.

Pee, what time was this big change? I believe it was some tome in the early evening, around 6:00 or so, altho I didn't find out about it until later. I usually do my team for the next day around 8 or 9 PM, to make sure that no games on the East Coast or in the Midwest are encountering weather problems. I didn't find out from ESPN, though. They still had a DH listed as late as this morning I believe. But I do have some other sources, of course. As, obviously, does everyone else who knew there would be no DH today.

Yeah, but the pitching number doesn't look like it's gonna be a DH's worth.

I noticed that yesterday, and panicked for a minute, thinked he had left the group If you look at our "Standings" page on the ESPN site, you'll see that his magnificent -20 on Monday required a box that was longer vertically than everyone elses's, in order to accomodate the minus sign (They had the minus sign above the number 20. That made the page too large to fit on one page of Arvisa, I guess. There must be a way to get to page two, etc. over there, since there are many leagues with more than eight teams, but I didn't bother to figure out how. Anyway, MC now has a positive total for the week, so you should be able to see him. When you looked at 4:00 AM, the scores hadn't been updated yet, so ESPN was still showing him with the -20. Whew.... Edit:: He's there

A question of ethics.....
My discussion in a couple of the football threads yesterday with Buffy touchd on a few questions of ethics in poker playing as well as fantasy sports, the desire to win at all costs, etc.....
So here's the question:
I am fairly certain that in last years fantasy baseball game you were able to see the transaction logs of the other players. I remember that, because one of my discussions with FS prompted me to look at everyone's to see if there was a correlation between a person's score and their number of transactions (there was, BTW. More transactions generally led to a higher score).
Anyway, this year only your own transaction log is viewable and you cannot see it for the other players.
However.....
If it was, and given the following circumstances
1) That it is an advantage for the person in first place to know the picks of the person in second place before making his own selections.
2) That there was a doubleheader originally scheduled yesterday (Tuesday), and it's quite possible that DB made his selections on that basis early Monday and then changed them later in the day.
3) That all of those transactions by DB would have been visible yesterday, and I could have had a pretty good idea of what his team would look like today, when the same doubleheader is scheduled.
Of course, I'd be gambling that he was aware of this and might deliberately change his team from his original DH selections, seeking to throw me off the track, but the question is:
Would it have been unethical for me to look?
I say "No", for the following reasons:
I usually make my picks arounf 8:00 or 9:00 PM, after I check the weather in the East and Midwest. Someone who makes their picks earlier assumes the risk that something like this could happen (altho this was a highly unusual, and perhaps unprecedented occurance).
Also, another player's transaction log is public information and therefore a legitimate research tool.
Yeah, I know. I'm the only one who's mind works like that, I'm the only one who thinks like that, I take this all too seriously, yada yada yada.

My answer: Although I wouldn't go through the trouble, my answer is no, it is not unethical. It's there - it's a research tool just like any other. I agree, of course, but just have the feeling that if we had wound up with the same team today, and I said that I picked the same team as you based on your T. Log from the previous day, I would have been in for a solid round of criticism.
