Yesterday was one of those days when your powress in picking a powerful offense prevailed (MC would be proud of that one).

But I can't believe you didn't take Santana . It was a no-brainer for me. Never even looked at anyone else.

I wouldn't have criticized you. All part of the game - you would have just been taking advantage of my screw up.

That's you.

Maybe I'm developing a complex from my discussion with Buffy yesterday. FS could be right....

With anything, I guess it boils down to a persons Intent. If you are looking to compare strength and possible movement then that would be one thing. If you were to copy to keep him from gaining on you would be another. If you were doing it to steal another players picks (like me copying Pee to get ahead of the person in front of me) that wouldn't be me playing the game but me copying Pee.

I think Buffy's point yesterday was more that you were using a loophole to screw up the game for everyone else. Holding two many players off the block. Are you able to do it, YES.... do others feel it is fair- NO Were you doing it to gain an edge or be an ass...only you know the real reason.

I would hope that you know me better than to think that I would do anything to simply be an ass and screw up the game.

I gave my reasons, and they were valid ones.

Hey, I wasn't saying that you were, just making a point.

When we play cards on a Friday night we try and have a fun, friendly game. Our Rules include- NO wild cards, no weirdo games and the most important-
That the cards speak for themselves. After all we are there as friends and to have a good fun time playing cards. Sure we are playing for some good amount of money, but it is still the game that matters. Which I feel really differs from playing in a casino.

Are you guys enjoying your cheese? The whine appears to be tasty. How about awe and wonder at how MaryCas can pick an entire team, stay under the cap and win the days points. So much for all that figgerin'.

Very divergent offenses today... I don't feel good about my team - not diversified enough, I think.

I agree, and I hope you're right.

Things are again getting a little too close for my comfort here.

I'm sure you've noticed that this whole second half has followed a very distinct pattern:

I open up a 50-60 point lead, you pull within striking distance or even take over first place (has it been once or twice? I forget), I open a 50-60 point lead, you pull within striking distance again.....

We must have had that happen four or five times already.

....you open up a 1,000 pt. lead on me, I forget a DH, you go 1,100 pt., I pick the Yankees for a week; 1,095....

My offense for today is not too diverse either. Cleveland + Minnesotas DH. The Cleveland DH put me over the cap.

I hope you got my lead right. You know I'm always accurate about my lead.

Let's see....My largest lead over you was, I believe 997, the morning after the Yankees were trounced by KC and their PS turned in a magnificent negative 51.

Since then you've trimmed it to a mere 955.

Smaller lead.

It's pissing me off too. I wanna open up a 100-150 point lead, relax, and start concentrating on football and the next book I'm planning to write (Working title: "Ethics in Fantasy Sports").

And, as an extra added bonus, you get a Woody besides. You wouldn't want to share that with JG anyway.

And poor MC.

My last outings with Johnsons have left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm hoping this Woody does big things for me. If not, I've played my last games with either one of them.

Have you tried Scope?

Maybe next time you should try Harden if there's been a problem with your Johnsons.
