I guess DB is a bigger man then I am. When can a girl catch a break around here?

You're not a cellar dweller. You're in the first division (Top 4), battling for second runner-up.

Only 12 days to go. You'd have to stop playing to fall to 5th place.

You are right SC, you better check and see who is really posting under Pee's Name-

No shit, really #26 hu? Well, I'll be.

Thanks Pee. I have to admit I have spent a few extra mins. working on my team this past week or so. With fall in the air and the old man taking off on some of his trips I have been stuck closer to home. I did notice that I was about 10-12% highter on my avg. But hell, it is all about the uber points anyway isn't it Geoff!

It also could be that Sc and I are interested in the Boston- Yankee race also

Yes, but don't think those of us on the bottom aren't watching every one above us, as we compare each night upon itself. After all if we didn't why would we still play each night right PEE?
another week or so Big Daddy will try and slip his team back in-

You're playing because you are still in a race.

If you were mired in seventh, with 200 points separating you from 6th and 8th, I doubt if you'd still be very interested.

You say you've been devoting a little extra time to the game lately, which, I believe, proves one of my previous points.

I said that you would "play harder" if you were battling for first, and you said that you wouldn't.

Well, here you are, battling for 5th, and playing harder. You may not even realize it -- it may be buried deep in your subconscious -- but I think the reason you're putting in the extra time is because you want to beat SC.

Oh, and BTW, I think I'll take back my congratulations about you being on the leader board. :p

You're right. It ruins my fantasy sports image.

Oh Lord, are we going to start this again??

Let me just finish the rest of this converation, just to save us the trouble...

FS reply to Plaw: No, Im playing more harder because its fun. No doubleheaders to ruin my fun, its no fun picking the same players that everyone else will. Also, the dam bowling alley was closed for asbestos removal.

Plaw: You still didn't answer my question, FS. You are playing harder because you want to catch SC. Back me up on this, MWA.

FS: Pee, pee, pee... When can an old dog learn new tricks? Why dont you just think about it on your next pee break? If I was in 8th place or in 1st, I'd be doing the same thing. I would look every night within itself, by itself, and if its within me to catch a break, I'd do it.

Plaw: Huh?

DB: Shoot me now.

FS -

D'oh! You replied to the congratulations... you just accepted the jinx. Don't you know whomever plaw has congratulated on their weekly progress has crashed and burned miserably?

He's evil, I tell ya, he's evil!

More abuse...

I can't seem to do anything right here anymore.

I try to be a stand-up guy and not sugar coat things, and I get criticized.

I try to be nice to FS, and I get sarcastic comments from the guy I'm being nice to.

And now this

Oh, BTW.....Congrats, SC. You're off to a helluva good start this week. :p

Well, I am back.

Hey, some of us do have to work for a living.
You guys have gotten a little more active I see.

You are kind of right Pee. I know that I can never make up those 5-6 hundred points between my spot and first place. Hey, I was the one who was out playing and not working on my team all summer. No one to blame but me. But what I can do is work night to night and try and kick some butt on a daily basis.
After all it is sweet to come out on top last night . 16 & 40 points over you and DB makes my morning. The hell with those other 128 thousand others and that leader board.
and if there is a jinx and I fail tonight, oh well there is alway tommorrow- and you can't take yesterday away from me.

Hey, whatever turns you on. :p

I see dead bodies too. When they wheel the body bag by my office I just sing, "Another one bites the dust, hey, hey.". It's one of the fringe benefits of working on the ground floor close by the door where they cart off the stiffs.

It seems Pops is grooming the young lad in the family trade. From now on when we disagree with anything FS says we can just say, "Bonasera, Bonasera".

Hey, I could think of worse businesses to be in.

It's recession proof, you don't have to worry about repeat business, there are new potential customers every day.......
