The only one around here who thinks that's important is FS.

Not suprisingly, we differ on the non-statistical picks. Two of my picks were hunch picks (Thome, Wells), Barrett was a pick because I know he's playing tonight (how could I have made that Posada mistake - I swear I thought the Yankme game was a night game - ), and the Speizio pick was a fill-in pick.

All the rest of the picks, which we matched up on, were statistical picks.

I know that Wilkerson was a statistical pick for you and you picked Moeler because you knew he was playing. I'd be willing to bet that Anderson was a hunch pick and I'm not sure about Branyan, possibly fill-in.

Just goes to show that we're playing the game the same way.

Sunday - 62 from Pirates DH
Monday - 38 from Cubs DH
Tuesday - 34 from Shillacked

I didn't really like any of the third baseman today. It's rare, after all, when you have a team with everyone you want and no fill-ins.

But Branyan was by choice. 3-13 lifetime against Clemens with 2 homers.

What kills me about yesterday, nothwithstanding the huge dent that DB made in my lead, was dropping from 70th place to 111th and losing about 40 points on the overall Leaderboard.

What does everyone else REALISTICALLY hope for in finishing this season.

I want to finish in the top 10% (ie. 90%). Considering I was hovering at the 65% level just a few weeks ago I think thats quite an improvement, and I've finished above 90% all three previous segments.

Had I taken Colorado, I would have been 7 points out of 50th place.

Good think I traded off Vogelsong right before his start in my other league.......he had nothing plus everything minus
