Don,
What about FFC revealing that when Tom and Woltz are walking around outside in Woltz's LA mansion - they had doubles to stand in to film that section in LA - and Tom and Woltz filmed the horse scene in NY.
I actually wacthed it in Slow Motion last night - and you can actually tell that it's not them!!
Isn't it weird, that you watch a movie thousands of times - and each time you watch it you learn somehting new??
FFC says in the commentary that the film was made in 62 days on a 6.5 million dollar budget.
WOW!
The fact that he was able to capture so much emotion and so much detail in that movie is incredible - and to do it in 62 days!! My hat goes off to FFC!!
I loved the personal touches FFC made - such as including the bottle of Annisete in the Solozzo meeting the Don scene, and the scene where Tom, Sonny and the Don discuss Solozzo and the possibility of entering the drug market.
Complimenti a tutti quanti!!
Great Commentary by FFC!!
I cannot wait for the trilogy to come out on DVD!!
- What about a book, or autographed card in the next DVD collection??
