And before last year, they had a post season baseball game where you pay for set-it-and-forget-it teams (which was no fun at all, but still something). And now it's too late to look for a post season game anywhere else - they've already started.

its salary cap and its free. The players do not lock until the game starts so as long as you get a full roster (you need a full roster to be eligible to get points) by the time the game starts you won't lose anything.
edit: well guess you can't pick from La or Stl lol and in that game you are limited to trades
