Although I realize it is only a ploy to keep me distracted on draft day.

You need to wake up pretty early to fool me. I'm like PL - in full concentration mode - allowing no distractions.

Of course if someone was sitting on my lap like Buffy mentioned earlier - that might be a distraction.

You know, Commissioner DB, I respectfully suggest that you rule that it's time to get back to business here.

The double entendres and comments with, um, sexual innuendo are starting to get out of hand.

We have several "under 21's" here, and I wouldn't want them to get the wrong idea  .

I can just picture Ragging Bull or Patrick coming in for some draft info, and instead they read about how Buffy is saving herself for Big Daddy, and lasting 90 seconds, and porn sites, or something equally immoral..

If you like, I am willing to assume the role of "Assistant Commissioner In Charge of League Morals and Getting back To Business Here".

Lemme know.

Sure, you can assume that role. You're really good at it in the other leagues!

Immoral?

plaw's a prude.

I don't direct my comments to the under-21 crowd, unless they want to bash me about my Niners who WILL be going 4-12 this year!! Yep, you heard me, I am BLISSFULLY optimistic!! :p

But seriously, ASScommish, you started it when you took the ball and ran with it comparing football to foreplay. You might need more stamina in that area than you had last year in this league!

By the way, what business is there to get back to? Not much to do to prepare for this kind of draft. Can't even strategize without knowing the draft order. You either know the players you want or you don't.

Big Daddy PM'd me and said to tell you to busy yourself by going to put another "sticky" on one of your threads...

Ok, I'm off to go do some research. (read eat some lunch) Boy, I hope Emmitt Smith is available when it is my turn!

Alright folks, draft starts in roughly 25 minutes... Below is the randomized draft order (initials we are going to use to update standings):

1 - LD
2 - FC
3 - DB
4 - RB
5 - TU
6 - DJ
7 - JG
8 - BD
9 - PL
10 - PP (what was Pat's old initials?)
11 - SP
12 - IM

Good draft everyone... I must say, that's the most fun I've ever had during a draft.

Good luck this year!

RB - I love the fact you've already dropped Boldin, you didn't even give him a chance. Don't worry, I took Marcus Robinson by mistake. Even if Moss is double covered you can still throw to him with confidence.

Turi, love this:

I realized I wanted a change when I looked at my whole team as a whole. I already dropped/added a player on waivers.

Fun draft. Yes, many thanks to DB.

Pork - see ya on Game Day. I'll have my game face on! :p

I'd be too scared to drop anyone now. I know if I do they'd be bloody future HOFers based on this year alone.

I would give him a chance if he wasnt hurt. Theres no reason to keep him if he isnt playing. I truly didnt mean to draft him.

I feel a little foolish posting this but I actually never read the scoring until this morning. Didn't realize the points for a QB was so high and the potential for negative points for a defense was also high.

So .....

I propose a re-Draft.

Granted I didn't do any really dumb like forgetting to draft a backup RB or something :p but I still think a re-draft is in order

Since my computer was locked for rounds 2, 3, and 4, and Yahoo "auto-picked" Michael Vick for me in the second round (I mean, I may not be any good at this game, but I'm not so dumb as to waste my second pick on a back-up).....

I wasn't even gonna say anything and just take my lumps, but since BDW suggested it.....
