Matchups This Week... DB vs. Turi - DB is coming off two very tough losses. His Bulger has been limp and he's got a Heap of crap for a tight end. His saving grace: having the most points among the 0and2fers. I rule. Things are looking up for DB this week. He gets to face Turi, who was demolished in his first game, and beat a non-team in his second game. Oh, how differently his offense would look with McNabb at the helm. Still, Turi comes in as a slight favorite. Jamal Lewis is playing a very weak Cincinnati run defense, while Tony Gonzalez is looking to break out against Houston. My Prediction: DB in a blow out. In the famous words of Mr. T... "Turi will go 1 - 2, I pity the foo!" PL vs. RB - Plaw is next to face the RB juggernaut. After thoroughly dismantling his two previous opponents, RB now has Plaw in his sights. Asking him about the upcoming matchup, RB responded "Plaw is going down," which by all indications, is the extent of his trash talking savvy. Plaw's response: "Doesn't he know who I am? I am Divine. I am Oblivion. I am the God who came down from the Heavens, to make of the Earth, a heaven." Note to self: Do not interview Plaw while he is watching "Philadelphia". My Prediction: Too close to call. Plaw possibly in a squeaker. PP vs. BD - Recent sighting: Pat, at his Tupac alter, praying to the football gods that Favre whips up on the weak Indy pass defense. Pat: "Yo, Football OG, Favre has to represent, fuh rizzle!" :p Another recent sighting: BD, looking at his calendar, for when Week 10 is. BD: "I know I'll at least get a win against Commisioner Welsher." My prediction: Incomplete. JG vs. FC - Another undefeated juggernaut, FC will now face JG's injury depleted team. Hey FC, you do know you have to give a 30 point bonus to JG because (i) he's your Don and (ii) he was able to place the word "foreskin" into his team name? Now that that's settled. My prediction: FC in a romp. Sorry Pork. DJ vs. IM - Double-J knows football. He knows the exact Cover 2 defense to play in Madden, even if Madden wants him to run a 4-3. Stupid Madden. DJ is also our last remaining undefeated team (but don't tell anyone, but he lucked out against Buffy last week... shhhhh). IM, at 1-1, actually comes in as a slight favorite, because DJ, our esteemed conservative, in what must be a liberal media conspiracy, is hurt by injuries and the bye week. My prediction: Squeaker, with IM winning in the end. LD vs. SP - SP gets to play a chick. Buffy has Vinny (Bethie, spidey-senses tingling at the mention of Vinny, comes to peak in the football thread). It's about even in the end. Buffy on last week's loss: "I should have won last week. Although I am all woman, I'll show you guys. This SP fellow won't know what hit him until he looks up and sees my firm behind (ask Bethie) driving away." SP's response (in his best BDD): My prediction: Can't tell yet. I'll tell you Tuesday morning.

LOVE IT!!!!! One thing though.... Vinny might be in a slot now. But I have been known to change at 10:55 am on Sunday (after post-Saturday night research ) when the mood warrants (much to my chagrin last week... ) If I stick someone else in the #1 QB spot DB, will you do another analysis? I live for those you know!!

I was looking all over for a "crotch grabbing emoticon", and this was the best I could do.
And BTW, the only one who thinks that RB is a "juggernaut" is RB.

And BTW, the only one who thinks that RB is a "juggernaut" is RB. First of all... I never said I was a damn juggernaut. Second, two of my best players have byes this week, but it dont matter cause I will still win. Third of all, Plaw, you will be lucky if its a squeaker when I win, because at least you will have given me a contest.

All shall fear me. Sounds like "juggernaut" talk to me. First of all, I never said you said that you were a juggernaut. Just that you think you are. Second of all, I believe my second best RB is on his bye week also, along with one of my starting WRs. Plus, my best RB is out, and my two best WRs are "questionable" But if they play, I'm gonna whip 'ya. And third of all, it ain't gonna be no squeaker. :p ------------------- Re-defeat G.W.
