OMG, really, that last one -- and the face on the bear -- are killing me!! It's a good thing that BD PM'd me saying that he'd be posting his pic any day now, so we can see what he looks like! I promised him I wouldn't use PhotoShop to alter his pics, tho he doesn't know I crossed my fingers while saying that. Shhhh!

Thanks for posting the Vegas picture, BD. It brought back a flood of happy memories. I was playing blackjack at the same table with these two lovelies, and doing rather well. They decided to follow my bets, and before you knew it, all three of us had won a tidy little sum. It seems that these two were in town for a bachelorette party, so they invited me up to their suite to meet their friends (that's where the photo was taken). We partied for a while, but I wanted to go down to the sportsbook to place a bet on a game that was about to start. Naturally Flopsie and Mopsie (those were their names - I swear) wanted to come with me. So, with one on either arm, we went back downstairs. When they saw me placing a bet, Flopsie asked me if I could give her a "Hot Tip". I thought that she meant that she wanted me to suggest a team for her to bet on, so I said "Well, Arizona looks good tonight with The Big Unit pitching." But Mopsie said "That's not the kind of 'hot tip' we had in mind. But we are interested in seeing what your 'Big Unit' can do" Well, it took me a moment but I finally got their drift. So, back upstairs we went, only this time to my room. Since this is a family show, I really can't go into the details of what we did next. But the old saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" is certainly applicable here. I can tell you that Flopsie and Mopsie left my room several hours later, though. I was a little worn out, so I stayed behind to take a nap. Strangely enough I just heard from Flopsie a few weeks ago. Another one of their friends is getting married in Las Vegas, and they were wondering if I was gonna be in town. We chatted for a while, and she kept saying how I reminded her of a character she saw in a movie once. She didn't remember the name of the film, but she was able to kind of describe the scene.... Something about two brothers and a bunch of Senators or something in a night club in Cuba in the late 1950's. She said that a guy comes out on stage in the club that everyone calls "Superman", and that's who I reminded her of. I kept asking her "Why", but all she did was giggle and say "You know." Maybe you can help me out with the name of the movie she was referring to?

Maybe you can help me out with the name of the movie she was referring to? Just a guess here but is it SMALLVILLE ? Here is what SMALLville is about Welcome to the Smallville guide at TV Tome. Smallville tells the tale of a teenage Clark Kent in the days before he was Superman. It is the town where he came from where very strange things started happening with his arrival in a spaceship in the midst of a meteor storm of green rocks. Clark must deal with a variety of individuals given powers by the green rocks, keep his powers a secret, cope with his friendship with a young Lex Luthor, and balance the two girls in his life, Chloe and Lana. The show also shows us how Lex Luthor develops from a friend of Clark's and kinda-okay guy to (presumably) the villain who will plague Superman in his later years .... So thanks for hmm 'sharing' that story PL. I remember you told that to me once before in a PM, I remember the Mopsy and Floppsy names because of the rabbit reference - I thought there was also a Thumper in there - maybe that was a nickname for you, you know Thump her So looks like you took the time to hmm 'share' this story at 2:30 in the morning - gee you have long pee breaks. I am only glad that the picture brings back such happy memories for you. That in itself makes this a good day for me.

No, I don't think the film they were referring to was Smallville. There doesn't seem to be anything in there about a night club in Cuba But I forgot to mention this in my story..... Flopsie (or maybe it was Mopsie - I forget) kept calling me "Big Daddy" the whole time we were, um, up in my room. I laughed, and told her I knew a guy who called himself "Big Daddy" on the internet, and she asked me if his name was Don and if he was from the northeast and an Eagles fan. It seems that she once met a guy in some internet chat room - she didn't tell me what kind, but hey, how many different kinds of internet "chat rooms" are there - named Don who called himself "Big Daddy". She said that every time they "chatted", just when things were starting to get "good" (as she put it), this "Big Daddy" guy would type "brb" and disappear for a few minutes. Then when he came back, he seemed to have lost all interest in continuing the "chat". She also said she thought that the guy was a real wuss, disappearing like that and everything.....

.....then plaw awoke from his dream. Superman? My sources tell me...um, no. Although, DB always said "it's not the size of the ship, but the motion of the ocean". I think he really believes that crap! Though DB did told me once in a PM he has the "size AND the motion". Or was that "ties and lotion"? Big Daddy - The wuzzy bear was by far the funniest and most realistic!
I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve - I have a history of taking off my shirt.....

Awwww....My yellow checked zoot suit. And the matching hat.
Yeah, that's one of the disguises I have to wear when I play blackjack, so the casino personnel doesn't recognize me and stop me from playing.

Oh, yeah....Flopsie (or was it Mopsie, I forget) also told me that every time this Big Daddy Don guy came back from his "brb" and started to type again, his spelling seemed to deteriorate.
I asked her what she meant, and she said that instead of spelling a word correctly, one or two letters in the word kept repeating themselves.
Like he would come back and type "nnnniiiiccce cccchhhattingggg wwwwiiiiitthhhhhhhh yyyyooouuuuu"
Almost like his fingers were getting stuck to the keys, she said......

Actually, she didn't use the word "deteriorate".
What she actually said was something to the effect of
"Like everytime, he like came back, his spelling was like all f**ked up. Like letters kept like repeating themselves, like his fingers were like stuck to like the keys"
She was a sharpie, that girl.

BDD, you truly are a comedian. How do I know??? 1 - You got a rise out of plaw. His Vegas story was classic... A couple of questions though: (i) You are in a room with a couple of hot girls, and you are thinking about going to the Sportsbook? (ii) With them leaving after several hours, that's A LOT of cuddle time if you ask me? :p 2 - You got RB to pay attention long enough to take him away from picking up hookers and working out in his latest GTA video game! That, my friend, is an accomplishment. :p

(ii) With them leaving after several hours, that's A LOT of cuddle time if you ask me? Thanks DB. But I didn't think the Vegas story was as good as my "Joe The Greek" story. As far as your questions go.... (i) I go to Vegas to gamble. When the sportsbook calls, it calls. Hot girls I can get anytime. I mean jeeeze, just look at my picture. While it's true that my head may appear a bit large for my body, it's not my big head that attracts them. And while my superior intellect does attract some, in the case of Flopsie and Mopsie it didn't much matter. (ii) Yeah, there was some "cuddle time" in there. Actually, for a good part of the "cuddling time" they were making me feel like a sausage sandwich. But, like I said, this is a family show.... Plaw uses 680 wipes per day! I think he uses them to clean off his keyboard. Week 8 Analysis... DB vs. IM - IM's been very quiet this week. Prediction: DB, hurt by the bye week, wins in a squeaker. PL vs. LD - It's been a rough week for plaw. First he loses to begin the week, then in succession he's been called the following names: --Gullible --Not worth talking to --Unable to absorb truth and logic --Arrogant --Pathetic --Embarrassing --Not worthy of respect And that was just from talking to his girlfriend! :p Oh yeah, he was also called an old windbag by Big Daddy. Buffy, by order of the Commish, I think you should give the man a hug. Prediction: Coin flip. RB vs. DJ - Too... busy... playing... Grand... Theft... Auto... Choose or Lose, fellas! Prediction: RB in a squeaker TU vs. JG - The Minuteman vs. The Porkmeister; Loser must change avatar to the picture below for a week (by order of the Commish!) :p Very disturbing... Prediction: I predict an upset here. Pork wins by 2 points. PP vs. SP - Pat, coming off a strong win last week, seeks to gain momentum against SP. SP looks to have very good matchups this week. Prediction: SP FC vs. BD - FC is cheating on his real girlfriend with his girlfriend on GTA. We won't tell. As for BD, his wife is getting jealous because of the TO poster BD just put up in their bedroom. Prediction: Too close to call

You forgot to mention the ultimate insult....I was compared to Patrick And no, AppleOnYa is not my girlfriend. Just another sparring partner. Not quite in the class of FS, though. Hey, wouldn't it be nice to get her into a fantasy game? And BD wasn't the the first to call me a windbag. It was SC. BD just jumped on the bandwagon. She should be worried about all of those "chat room" conversations he's been having with Flopsie (or was it Mopsie...I forget which).
