Buffy's roster looks like a Christmas tree with all the red, so I guess she has to mind her P's and Q's

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

yo Yo YO Big Dadday in Da House .....

So I have been offsite for a few days and I would first like to say how much I missed my 'peeps' but I can't cause that would be a lie. :p

Anyway so in my little spare time and without ability to do much research I was sitting pretty happy with my recent trade.

I mean I figured out a way to get my hands on Buffy's TE. Thought I would would really work her TE Monday night - and probably into Tuesday morning. Thought for sure that my opponent DB - would be shocked and concerned knowing that I will be using his #1 fan's TE against him this week in ways he would not imagine. He would surely be mad that it was I, not he that got to Buffy's TE first. And with me not getting to use Buffy's TE until Monday, that would probably lead me to a 'come from behind' victory.

HOWEVER ....

I now read that Buffy's TE is not quite what I thought. Seems I am getting some damaged goods. Looks like her TE has been worked over pretty good the last few weeks and might not even be up to the task this week. Her TE might even be 'riding the pine' come Monday night.

Hey, can I object to my own trade ???

I would like to also thank those of you that made me aware of this via your PMs to me. A few examples below (sinking back to 3rd grade humor now);

Pork - Hey BD, what is up with you getting Buffy's crappy TE ?

DJ - Ha, getting Buffy's TE that stinks

DB - Buffy's TE - shitty move

PL - Hey Wuss, in case you missed it I won both halves of baseball.

So thanks for everyone for their concerns, guess it is too late to stop my trade now.

What's the matter?? Buffy's TE isn't all it's cracked up to be??

Get it, "cracked up"??

OK, I'll sit back down.

Actually I think Buffy's TE was pretty hot earlier in the season but I guess after getting a lot of action early it has gotten pooped out.

Anyway .......

DB - leave the penthouse nice and neat now. I'll be moving in early Tuesday. If you would like to concede early - I will be more than willing to graciously accept it.

Week 10 Analysis

DB vs. BD - Currently #1 vs. #2. BD hopes to ride LD's TE to victory.

That, my friends, is what is called innuendo.

It should be a good matchup.

My prediction: DB in a squeaker

PL vs. FC - Two teams currently trying to stop losing streaks. Injuries hurting FC.

My prediction: PL in a squeaker

RB vs. IM - IM is hurt by injuries. RB is looking to bounce back after getting romped on by a chick.

My prediction: RB gets back to his winning ways

TU vs. LD - Turi is paying more attention to his Steelers. Buffy is enjoying the attention her TE is getting.

My prediction: Turi in a squeaker

PP vs. DJ - DJ has a good team, just unlucky in matchups so far. Pat is looking to bounce back from his loss to (gasp) Pork.

My prediction: Pat hopes Pork loses as well or he'll be alone in the basement. DJ in a romp.

JG vs. SP - Guys take their fantasy basketball rivalry and go one-on-one in football. JG is looking to make it three in a row.

My prediction: SP - Manning too strong

Thanks for the concern and you would know all about that - with the exception of the missing baby wipes - could be you.

Anyway in my absence I meant to ask you how could you lose to a team last week that had a team without 3 players even playing ? Must be a lag due to the startup of basketball.

I'm still trying to figure that one out myself

I think it may have had something to do with post-election blues.

You know, speaking of basketball.....

Today is the 11th day of the season. So if you joined now, you'd have a built in excuse for losing.

You could say....lemme think here for a minute.....hmmmm....

I know. You could tell everyone "I started 12 days late".

Oh, and BTW...I'm picking DB to romp this week. he should win by at least 30.

Game Day!

This is my last away game of my football career. The game starts at 1:30. I have to be at the school by 10. Last night was my first free Friday night in a while, but I actually went to bed early (after AI's game winning shot ).

The local newspaper sports writers make their picks for each of the local high school games. For the first time all season, all 6 writers picked us to win.

And yesterday before practice, my coach told me that I made 2nd team all-league at WR!

We fucking won baby!! We beat the #1 state ranked team Nyack to win the region. I think that makes us #1 now. Boy, from Underdogs to #1. What a freakin season.

It's official - Buffy's TE is all mine and I will be 'working' it tomorrow night. I can only hope with the output tomorrow night at the end it will confused with a WR.

Anyway my game with DB is soon. My M.W.A. - oh wait I can't say that PL will get jealous. OK, well I am his number one fan - oh wait, can't say that either, Buffy will get jealous. Well in any event - it's a game for first - am I the only one with hard nipples ?

Hey DB, I would bet you, buy well you know ...

I didn't make any picks in Weeks 1, 2, 5 and 9 and every week, there might be a matchup or two that I thought was too close to call...

With that said, I'm 18 for 24, much better than my record in the real Pick'em.

Mushy gave me 3 TD's for 24 pts today! :p That's five in the last 3 weeks.

Ahh, here it is... Westbrook has been on BD's bench since he got him in Week 5. Ahh well, I guess he got the best of me!

Buffy's TE might be a lot of things but 32 points is not one of them. So all this talk of Buffy's TE and in the end it was stinkin Dallas Clarke that did me in. As fine as Buffy's TE may be - I hate to admit and feel a bit like a Sissy admitting it but it seems that DB has the better TE. Now wonder Buffy is your number 1 fan. And I am starting to think that when PL refers to you as MWA - he really means Most Worthy Ass ....

Of course my TE was not playing today so in the end I guess it is still up for grabs who has the best TE. :p

And just in case anyone was wondering - with this loss my nipples aren't hard anymore.

We won yesterday 22-13.

Their field had absolutely no drainage, so it was like we were playing on a muddy sponge.

I had one catch for 25 yds. I aslo had two pass break-ups. And I got a 5 yd facemask penalty called on me.

We're 4-7, with one game left. It's on Thanksgiving morning against our arch rival. It's sad to think I have less than two weeks left of my football career.

It's even sadder to think that I start wrestling the Monday after Thanksgiving (wrestling is not fun)

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol
