I really can care less about the rest of this season. Now I can concentrate on rooting for a winning team...my Bills...

Well, the fact that I missed the first 15 minutes of the draft notwithstanding, I thought I had assembled a half-decent team. I was able to hang in for the first few weeks, staying near #3, but after that, I either lost by a small margin, or got totally blown-out. So grr. The biggest hits come from: Edgerrin James not being, or perhaps, Peyton Manning being, the center of the Colts touchdown offense...The Bills catatonic pass offense coupled with my shoddy receiver squad (which actually wasn't bad, Glenn was having a good year till he got hurt, but oh well).

I'll be back next year. Hopefully we can set a draft time and not change it like the day of

I'll admit that James is a bad Fantasy RB choice. Short goal line plays and Manning is still throwing them TD's. Killer.

DJ - You still need a full, healthy roster each week... the rest of us are still playing. Even ME, wuss! :p

Again, as I said - even with a 4 touchdown game from my boy Willis McGahee, I still can't catch a break.

Oh well.

At least the Bills season is still showing some bright spots.

Ahhh.

Someone who agrees that this game is very much a matter of scheduling luck.

Kinda like real football???

Sidenote: I didn't get to smack talk the PorkSkin before I left. We were pretty close after the afternoon games - within 9 points there for a while...I was worried about what Plummer COULD do last night.

Kinda like real football??? [/b][/quote]Well, there is an element of luck in scheduling in real football, of course. Who you happen to play in a given year, because the schedule is unbalanced.

But in our league, at least thru the first 11 weeks, the schedule was balanced.

And the difference is, in real life a team has a huge element of control over how many points the other team scores.

Yesterday the Browns scored 48 ponts, ordinarily more than enough to win. But it was their fault that they allowed 58 and lost.

In our league, DJ scored 92 - more than enough to usually win. But he had no control over the fact that SP happened to score 106.

Well, if we give Bulger, let's say, 250 yards, 2 TD passes, and one INT, that's 15 points.

If one of those TD passes doesn't go to Holt, you'll win, unless Holt racks up 100 yards without catching a TD pass.

Should be interesting, anyway....

Lotta different ways it can turn out.

With me having an 11 point lead, and a TD worth six, and 5 points going to a QB with 250 yards or a WR with a 100, I's say that there's a legitimate chance of a tie.

Even if GB keeps it at 3 PtsAllow (highly unlikely), I'm still in for a long, hard night! (Wait, I meant that in a bad way! )

Pork, glad I can be the one to make it long and hard for you.

Sidebar: Multiple leagues are nooooo fun. League #2 I have Favre and Driver. League #3 I have GB D. Luckily in # 3 I already have that game won.

So listen up: NO MORE GREEN BAY SACKS or TD's!

I won't even make the playoffs, but I can't let a Foreskin beat me. Yow, that sounded bad. I meant PORKskin....

Just tell McDonald to settle down there w/ the yardage. GB gets +1 for a sack, and that biotch gets +1 for running his wide receiving butt around!

JG 59 - could use another def TD
LD 61 - could use an injury :p

So this close to the post season, what is everybody's projections for the playoffs and for winning the whole thing?

Im gonna say Douche, Playaz, myself, and Turi in the playoffs. It would be unfair to pick myself to win, so I'll say Douce takes it.
