My feeling is: Everything in this game is about luck. Not only scheduling, but injuries, matchups, bye weeks - all the way down to how your players perform each Sunday. We can sit here all day and think about matchups and scenarios where we are undefeated or winless - but hindsight is 20/20. It's all luck. Why is scheduling any different?

The only thing I would change is that we have a 14 team league next year and an 8 team playoff starting in Week 14. Although the teams we face twice this year was also random, I didn't like the asymmetry of the scheduling.

A 14 team league has all of us facing each other once and we slide right into the playoffs.
