I'm fairly sure The Godfather Part II was put onto two discs to ensure optimal audio/video quality. I definitely prefered the two discs as opposed to one double sided DVD. But I think the Saga would nicely fit onto three discs (single-sided), and the Trilogy onto four. I certainly look forward to their release.
