I rooted for the St. Louis-NYJ to head into overtime and for St. Louis to win based only upon the following fantasy implications:
1) It gave Pennington some extra time to improve upon his pathetic statistics 2) the St. Louis win forced Alexander to play the entire game in Seattle, as the division was still on the line b/w Seattle & St. Louis.

Despite having to start Pennington in place of Peyton Manning, I won my league (and $300 ) by a mere 5 points.

You're A Bit Too Into Fantasy Sports...

Fantasy baseball is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month. The concept was born in January 1980 when a group of media members convened at a restaurant in Manhattan called La Rotisserie Francaise. It was for this reason that the fantasy game was originally called "rotisserie."
