The look on Don Vito's face when entering the car after asking Mike "How's your American girlfriend?" is priceless. The Genco scene not only is excellently portrayed, but sad, funny and moving. It explains the scene when Mike tells Kay that he thinks Tom will be cosiglieri. My fav is when Mike says what about Sonny/Sicily and Michael says that he didn't promise anything. Don Vito puts his arm around Mike and says smiling, "We have alot of time to talk about it".It shows real affection for Mike and explains what the theatre version only
implies-- that Don Vito was the architect of revenge on their enemies.
