I don't have the Godfather DVD Collection yet,but I want it.The only problem is that where I live it is $95(rounded to $100) for 5 Dvd's.I know that it is a great movie and all but you can get 4 Lord of The rings DVDs for only $30,so why so much more for 1 extra DVD ?

Hmm...I bought my DVD set a few months back, 'round Christmas time...

I noticed an advertisement in the Sunday paper at my local Blockbuster for the DVD collection for $74.99 (+ tax of course), and I snatched it up, since most stores around here were selling it for $99 and up. wink

That's not really how it works. First of all, the Godfather Trilogy is a far superior film than LotR. Second of all, the GF Trilogy is three movies, while the LotR DVD you are talking about is just one film. Third of all, you can probably find a much better deal than $100 by looking online. You can check eBay and probably score it for $50 or so, or you can go to dvdplanet and get it for about $70. If you really want it, you'll find it. And it's SOOOO worth it.
