AND according to the announcers Ritzinger was the early favorite in this race.

I would have had to get the odds from plaw, but Ritzinger would have been my pick.

The REAL bet woulda been on the new name, though -- NO ONE woulda predicted Benedict XVI !

I was betting on Pope Louis Vuitton II. It has a nice ring to it, huh?

But he's German, they're in Italy, and it's a French name. My bet didn't stand a chance.

I just have to be more careful in my calculations next time.
