Sure you can go to ESPN.com or watch it on...ESPN...or you can be a cool guy with street cred and follow the draft as it happens here at BB.NET. Besides my constant updating of the 1st Round and beyond, I'll add some thoughts about my team's progress(the Miami Dolphins) and everyone can post their (irrelevant) thoughts on the matter.

Sounds good to me.

I woke up this morning with nothing to do and went to bed with only half of it done.

FIRST ROUND

1. San Francisco - Alex Smith QB/Utah
2. Miami - Ronnie Brown RB/Auburn
3. Cleveland - ???

Wow, Miami going for Brown. Lets hope this Auburn running back doesn't implode like many of his alumni in the NFL. Then again, Bo Jackson was one as well(but he was pretty darn good before his injury).

Thoughts on Browns?

I only saw Auburn play once and Brown had a limited role. I was really impressed with C Williams but they're different players. I guess Brown did himself a hell of a favour with his excellent combine.

If so, then Browns have only 40 seconds to do it!

No trade. I like Braylon Edwards. I thought Miami might think about taking him.

I think the Browns will be a decent team this year. As for Braylon Edwards hes a good pick, he played at Michigan so he's used to the cold weather that he will play in when hes in Clevland.

The Browns have the worst luck in sporting history. Something will go wrong for them.

If we're talking sleepers my money would be on Detroit and Arizona.

I disagree on THIS season, but NEXT YEAR will be something. Still, with Trent Dilfer as QB, I'm not sure. But hey, he did *lead* a team to a SB win(though we all remember the defense winning the title, despite a lackluster-as-hell offense).

So, what will DA BEARS draft?

Cedric Benson of Texas. Great RB and the Bears are still looking for Walter Payton's replacement. He will fill those shoes!

I wish all the luck to the Bears, but Benson looks like a stinker to me. Then again, maybe its the bad taste of Rashamm Salamm(whatever) and Curtis Enis still leave a nasty taste in my mouth.

Tampa Bay is next after DA BEARS pick!

"DOL FAN" Thought:

You know that Ronnie Brown is the highest-drafted Running Back by the Miami Dolphins since Larry Csonka? A man who churned up a Super Bowl MVP, a few Pro Bowls, a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, jersey number retired by the Dolpins, and eventually an analyst for AMERICAN GLADIATORS. LOL

Carnell Williams has to got to go next. He's to good of a player for Tampa Bay not to pick him. Also when will someone pick a defense guy?

I would have preferred the Browns to either A) trade down or B) taken Mike Williams WR USC. But I'm just glad they didn't take a QB in the first round.

Anyway, will the Vikings pick Williams at WR...or Williamson at WR?
