I like Moose too... and you know I'm a sucker for a guy in a suit, so check this out.

Sorry, I know that movie verbatim!

As for the YankMe's - my daughter who is 13 - has defied her mother (that's me, in case you are slow ) and is a YankMe fan. You have to understand I am National League specifically Dodger Blue all the way. To have an AL fan in the family is just like..unnatural.

So last year I tested her to see if she was a true fan or just on the bandwagon that all the kids around here seem to be on.

I asked her to name 5 players and 3 pitchers ACTIVELY on the roster.

She came up with Jeter, Pussada, Giambi, Sheff and A-Rod of course.

Pitchers she said Kevin Brown (she knew to say this as her Mom was a Dodger fan), Rivera and oh yeah "that guy you like Mom, the Moose!"

That's my girl! We even watched Stump the Schwab together last night after the Spurs game.

Her dad can be so proud she gets all her sports love and exposure from her mom!

Yeah, that was cute!! Last night was a good night for Manu fans... the camera was on him a lot, like every time they were going to break for commercial or something. It was like their lure to keep viewers... like, "Hey, don't change the channel; look what we've got here!"

Ooh, non-athlete discussion? There's so much more to add!

I always liked Kevin Bacon in Tremors:

Yep, the LAA. Funny, I don't remember Mike Sciosca being such an asshole when he actually PLAYED the game of baseball.

The Dodger series with the Sox a few weeks back was the most brutal for me. I work with a die hard Chicagoan and I bet the Sox wouldn't sweep - and they did. Im STILL hearing the giddyness.

I dont get out to Cali much anymore but I travel quite frequently whenever the Dodgers play at Coors or in Phoenix. Good excuse for a road trip!

GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTT pic. I think it even beats Snake's avatar.

Talk about an under rated actor. Oh wait..we're not judging him for his acting skills are we?

That's a lovely pic of Moose, Zia!

I think I'm a sucker for suits, too...

I guess that's why I love the Blues Brothers.

SB, that cracks me up...because I don't have a thing for Chad Michael Murray. (Is that his name?)

Okay, I near hate Tom Cruise now after the way he's been making a fool of himself lately, but I can always admire his physical appearance. Anyway, I think he looks so good with gray hair in Collateral! I love him as the bad guy.

Nice pic [/b][/quote]You gotta love a sexy workman in a wife-beater. Now if he was also wearing workboots and denim shorts and the toolbelt low around his waist..... Or is that a little too Village People?

Silly, he is not wearing the toolbelt because Goldie Hawn (Annie) threw it over the yacht in the beginning of the movie!

"Nooo!! Not my toolbelt!"

I forgot about that! He is aging well, but definitely aging. As I said, the median age of my list is growing by the minute. If it wasn't for ARod and Jeter, it would be eligible for Social Security soon!

As far as non-sports hotties, one of the classics who has been hot for 22 years straight (what a record!) is one of my very favorites...

Here's Matt back in 1983.

And now, still extremely hot.

He was such a bad boy in the 1980's. Rob Lowe is another one who is aging well. I liked him much better as Sam in the West Wing than any of the stupid shows he did after that. Best of all, I loved him in The Stand.

ok, I just have to tell you that I went on the web looking for photos of Rob, and you know how they come up on Google sort of small and you have to click on it to see the full size image? Well it was a picture of Rob sitting on the stairs with his legs hanging over the steps through the spindles. When I double-clicked on it to see the full image, there was more hanging out than I bargained for!

Being the curious girl I am, I went back on to Google and searched Images for rob lowe. Sure enough, the same picture popped up (no pun intended). It seems that there are MANY such photos of various celebrities on there in addition to Rob, like The Governator, Tony Danza, Kevin Bacon, Antonio Banderas and more. Ohimigod!! They have to be doctored photos, but still....

okay, those are pictures I'm not going to get out of my head for awhile.

Back to business, Yankees v. Mets tonight. A Subway Series is always great. I hear that they're the hardest tickets to get, and I'm not surprised. New Yorkers are SUCH a lovely crowd.

I hope the Astros do well tonight, for personal and business (fantasy) reasons.

Good luck to your boys!

Yankees are losing and were just robbed of a homer by a fanastic catch by the Mets. Going into the 9th and they're down 5-2. I doubt that there will be a comeback.

Not sure who caught it. Everyone was just amazed that it had been caught at all. He literally ran into the wall to get it. It was a great play, although it did rob my beloved Yanks of a possible win.

Oh, well, he's a center fielder for the Mets, and I despise him. Yet he's good.

Sorry about the Yanks. The 'Stros just finished their game, and they won 5-2 against the Rangers. It was scary there for a bit; two homers allowed by Roy.
