Please don't!

Well, the commercial I was talking about is for H-E-B stores, and I see that their website has their commercials, but the new one isn't up, yet. There were actually two involving the trio (Roger/Andy/Carr), but I found one funnier. It showed Roger and Andy all dressed up in football uniforms, hiding behind a bush in a backyard. They're talking to the camera about how Carr thinks he's so great and so on because of the commercial he's doing (in the background), and then they get the camera to follow them as they literally tackle Carr. It was just the cutest thing.

My good friend and I were talking about it, and we remembered this commercial that Andy did a while back about wearing your seatbelt while driving...he had on a plaid shirt tucked into blue jeans, and we were laughing about how nerdy he looked on that one, compared to looking much better in the football one.

A plaid shirt tucked into jeans? Oh Andy.

Is that football one available online?

It doesn't seem to be online.

I found the commercials with just Roger here , through H-E-B's main site, but I guess they haven't updated lately, or else it seems they'd be there.

Well I got the results back and it said "Friendship, Pen Pals or Buddies"

But of course Friendship always leads to more (NO debating that lol)

and besides all it does is look at birthday and country of birth and all that, it does not take into account that I am VERY GOOD at begging lol

I can imagine, especially when it comes to her. She might even just give in to make the whining stop.

It's okay, we know about you and your pro spelling.

You know, I bet she's a terrible speller too! I mean come on, she thinks satisfaction is spelled with an extra T, R and U... :p This is a match made in heaven.

Opposites attract, they say. You're in luck.

A doctor? Really? I never would have guessed that.

I can come up with anything to suit my needs

Why wouldn't you have guessed Doctor?

Would you believe she was a tomboy until 15?

Well yeah, she's a pro wrestler.

Which is also why I wouldn't have guessed doctor... I don't usually equate med school with wrestling. :p

Gigi, I already mentioned this in the MLB thread, but it's just different here in our thread...

CONGRATS!!!!!!!

It must be an amazing feeling to watch your boys battle it out for that long, and come out winning.

There was a teacher strike at her college and she was unable to take her finals, and she started concentrating more on one of her fitness competitions coming up and someone there said that WWF would be interested in signing her. :p

You're so right, Zia. It's different here. I like it better in here, because we all get along.

Thank you, thank you. As I said, it's just so cool to hear such positive and kind things from other fans, because some people can be pretty nasty, and y'all have just been great.

I told my friend on the phone today (one of many phone calls throughout and after the game) that she didn't need weed...all she needs is the Astros to get a high. (She doesn't do drugs, actually...don't worry! All in jest. ) Really, though, it was a crazy game, and I've just been sort of floating ever since. Everytime I see replays, pictures, and articles, it's just surreal.

A guy in my Calculus class was just griping about Clemens on Friday, so maybe I'll tease him about Roger's sac bunt in his pinch-hit appearance and great shutout innings of relief - definite redemption there. But even better, I still remember a game a while back that I watched at my friend's birthday party, and during it, two of my friends were making fun of Ausmus about how he never gets hits, and how he "sucks," so I can't wait to ask them if they think his homer to tie it up in the bottom of the ninth was clutch enough for 'em. I'm not one for rubbing things in people's faces, and I probably still won't for fear of a jinx (I'm way too superstitious), but it's nice to serve up crow every so often.

Gina, I was thinking of you throughout all 18 innings. What a game!! That was GREAT. I'm sure that you were thrilled beyond belief. And I was happy for the Rocket, even though I'm still mad at him for leaving us!! Btw, Chris Burke is sooooo cute.

I only got to see the first inning of the Yankee game, as we had dinner plans. We had the poor waiter running back and forth from the kitchen to give us updates on the game. When he brought my husband the wrong dessert (why oh why do they always screw up our dessert?), he offered to take it back. My husband decided that it was an omen, and that if he ate it, the Yankees would win (we had a lot of wine to drink at dinner, so this reasoning made perfect sense at the time). Well, it worked!!

I asked my husband if he expects me to make creme brulee tonight so that they'll win again, but he seems to think that they won't need the help against Colon. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Ya gotta love sports superstition. I'm not superstitious AT ALL in anything else, but when it comes to sports, I'm completely ridiculous, like, "MAN, did they lose because I took a sip of my Diet Coke at the top of the hour??? Or worse, did they lose because it was DIET Coke? Damn, I shoulda gone with regular!!"

Well, it's the top of the 2nd, Colon has been replaced by some rookie, and nobody's scored yet, so maybe it'll work. All I know is, I was thrilled not to have to make creme brulee. It is my favorite dessert, but it's soooooo complicated to make that I find it easier to just order it out.

The Girl who is kissing her is named "Mickey James"

So indirectly I feel like I have kissed Trish

Maybe this is a sign......

edit for when Flame reads this: of course it's not a sign

I guess I should've gotten out my little torch and made the damn creme brulee. My poor boys!! Oh, well, I guess the fact that they even made the postseason was a miracle.

Btw, Cooties Alert!! DMC, If you're going to hang here with the gals, we need some pictures of MEN.

it says LADIE's thread, and Trish is a (goddess) Lady.

I was just trying to make the thread a little more diverse :p
