Merry Christmas, SB!

And just look what Santa brought you.

Gina - That is so cool!! Thank you!! I heard that Mr. Jeter is building a big house near my mother-in-law, but have been unable to verify the rumor. I'll just have to visit my in-laws more often!

I love that look on his face, too.

Definitely try to visit the in-laws more, if that's what's in store for you!

We'll probably all be setting up Christmas trees dedicated to our guys next year, huh? A Willy tree, a Brian tree, a Derek tree, a Manu tree, a Trish tree....

A tree in the shape of Trish, would that be anything like Frosty the Snowman? put an angel on it and it comes to life

That's just silly I know

On a completly unrelated note I just picked up tree sculpting for dummies

On an even more unrelated note, here's a great picture of Sasha.

After sitting through class today I found a SCIENTIFIC explanation for Trish:

It is scientifically proven that as matter rises (read age) in the STRATUSphere its temperature (read hotness) increases.

Unfortunately there is no Jetersphere or Willysphere or Vujajicsphere

SAGS??!!! SGAS??!! Oh, JG, and just think - in DS' thread announcing his engagement, there was speculation as to how a catch like you has remained single  .

I uh, was talking about aging athletes, of course!
And certainly we know that "gravity" effects men more than women.

Edit: I meant to type "more than women" -- don't think I meant "men then women)

Instead of a back-pedaling smiley, perhaps you want to find one that is digging a huge hole that only gets deeper and deeper....

Thanks, SB! Happy New Year to all of you, as well!

Oh, SB, if only I could put a VHS tape on the Internet for you. My mom showed me this one we've had for a long time of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (another great band that I like) performing, as well as Brian Setzer. I don't know how old this video is, but Brian looked a lot younger, and so sexy. And in this one, he takes off his jacket and has just a white undershirt on... Well, he puts on another jacket, but that short while with just the undershirt is so worth it. And I just can't get over how adorable his face is!

And on Brian's web site, they'd posted a New Year's message he'd apparently written, and it had his resolutions. Guess what number two was...

2) Go to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
Must be a baseball fan!!! He also mentions his wife and kids, but I'm not at all jealous. Okay, a bit. But I truly am happy for him, because I'd read that he was divorced, so I guess he found someone else, which is great.

Gina, When you and Zia and I go to that baseball game together, you can let me borrow the tape!

I have to admit that I've been to Cooperstown three times and NEVER been to the Hall of Fame. I used to go to a conference there every May, but never had time to go, although they did organize a game at Doubleday field once -and let's just say that I'm much better off sitting in the stands. I am probably the worst baseball player in history.

Cooperstown is a very pretty little town and it's only about a 3 hour drive from my house. Every year, my husband and I say that we're going to go back and take the kids, but then we look at the prices of the inns in the area, and put it off another year.

Will do!

Wow, I'd love to visit Cooperstown, but I can certainly understand your reasoning for never being able to make it to the HOF. I hope that someday you can make it there.

And now that it's officially 2006 here, I'll wish you a very Happy New Year! I guess Zia's still stuck in last year, but she'll make it soon.

Well, Brian is 46...

I don't think older age does for me quite as much as it does for you, though.

By the way, check the last post in the "sex with a famous person" thread...uh-oh.

Damn good thing I'm only turning 18 next week!!

And if DM is reading this, I meant 58, apparently... :p

Geoff, since old age turns DM on so much, I bet he would just love feeding you your prunes, don't you think?

I'm willing to pass that on to him, even though I was your official prune-feeder for so long.

Gigi, you'd give up your prune-feeding duties? How sad, I thought that was gonna be "your" thing. Maybe you can be the main one, and DM can step in on the weekends or something. He can be the on-the-side one.

Happy New Year, by the way!! Sorry I didn't stop by here yesterday. I guess I am kinda behind. At least we're all in the same year now. :p

I felt the Ladies' Thread needed a bump, since the rival Fellas' Thread was started.

Also, the Astros finally signed a free agent! We acquired Preston Wilson, an outfielder who played for the Rockies and Nats - hopefully he'll provide the offense we need!

The Fellas' thread does not have any Trish pictures posted by yours truly, so in other words it is nowhere near a rival
