Yeah, that sitcom was darn stupid. I figured with her and Henry Wrinkler it should be funny. None of the cast had any chemistry on that show.

I have no clue why Amy would be back. I could see everyone coming back for Leo's funeral, but why Amy? I guess I could see them bringing back Josh's exes while his and Donna's relationship gets off the ground, just to add a little drama. As long as in the end Josh and Donna ride off into the sunset then I'll be happy.

Too right. We must have our Josh and Donna Love. And, btw, could they have exchanged more puppy-dog-lovesick glances last night? I wanted to yell out - Just throw her down and do it already!!

Oh, I know. I was oohing and ahhing all night. It's like they were in their own little world and everyone kept inturrupting them. Darn wars and elections getting in the way of true love.

I saw an intervie with Josh's real life wife, Jane Kasmarick, it was on the tv guide channel about the 20 best tv couples. I think Josh and Donna were listed around #12. Jane said they do too much talking, and need to start kissing and making love. See...he has the wife's permission.

Having the wife's permission is always helpful. Although I would like to have some resolution for all the couples, I guess that would be too much of a cliche. For example, if Toby ended up with Andi, Zoey with Charlie, CJ with Danny and Donna with Josh, that might be too cutesy. And we know from the presidential library flash-forward that CJ and Danny get together, so I would think that the others are too much to hope for.

In a way Toby is too anal to be with anyone. Maybe he just needs to be alone. I think last night's episode shows maybe they're leaning towards Donna and Josh hooking up. This is a politcal show, so maybe the PTB have more important lose ends to finish up, but hey, there should be room for our important issues to be taken care of too.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..wonder if we should start a West Wing thread.

I actually did start one once. The only other WW fan I found was Goombah. It could be the "SB and Beth WW Thread - All Others Stay Out!!"

Yeah, we can put "for our eyes only".

Oh well, we're ladies, so I guess it can fit in the ladies thread.

Two for the price of one. Last night's West Wing episode is on now on the Bravo channel. Got to see the kiss again. Woo hoo!

I know!! I watched it, of course, even though my daughter was yelling at me to change channels and watch Deal Or No Deal. Btw, I didn't realize until my 2nd viewing that Josh was in his boxers!! And when he spoke to her in the park, he didn't say it was a mistake, he said that it was inappropriate, like he was just testing out her reaction. At least he acknowledged it!

Does anyone here watch Deal Or No Deal? It is, without a doubt, the stupidest game show ever. It requires little skill or strategy, no knowledge aside from the ability to count to 26, it's 99.9% pure chance, but it is completely and totally addictive.

Boxers!!! Oh hell, how did I miss that. I'll have to catch it when this season comes out on dvd..hahaha.

Now, we have to wait until Sunday to see if Donna thought Josh didn't accept her key, of if she realizes that bitch took it before Josh could react.

As far as being inappropriate, oh well, who cares. Throw her down on the desk and see how inappropriate it is to do on government property.

He looked like he had been asleep, which leads me to wonder if that kiss was tainted with morning breath! I wish I could control how my mind works sometimes.

By the way, the pool guys are back!! They installed the tracks for the cover, then put in the liner, and they are now filling the pool with water!! Of course, it's supposed to snow Friday. Isn't that typical!!

Oh, thank you for that one, Zia!

Man, he looks nice in that suit. Love the hat, too.

Zia, I'm going to take this moment to make a very Plaw-esque post...

BBC's back. Get in.

I was wondering when you'd join that, and why you hadn't yet. It's been up for a few days already, and I thought you'd seen it... I thought it was weird that you weren't posting or anything.

I just joined like 2 minutes ago too. I see Beth's in too... woo hoo!

I don't know what my problem was! I think it's because I usually just ignore the stickies, since they rarely concern me...too much Yahoo baseball junk...

SB, this is your formal invitation...

Please join the ESPN Baseball Challenge fantasy game!

If we can get you in there, along with me, Zia, and Bethie, just imagine the chick power we could have! It'll be a whole different fantasy thread when we discuss our picks!

Talkin smack about the Yahoo game? Oh hell no, girl. Wow, I'm talking (typing) pretty ghetto today. I don't know why. Oh, I know why... I was reading this blog called "Young, Black, and Fabulous," and the girl who does it writes like that. That's where I found the T Mac picture, too.

SB. I think we tried to get you in last year, and it didn't work. Let's try again. Whatsa matta? You like baseball, we like baseball, you like us, we like you, we're in the game, and you're not. Something doesn't add up. Get in!

Hey, I'm not looking for any trouble, alright, Zia? Even if I'd wanted to join Yahoo, I would've immediately been scared off by the pages (and pages) of discussion regarding the detailed rules and strategies involved...

Such a great line, it should be repeated. And repeated and repeated until SB joins.

I must admit to being too embarassed to join. I am a very impatient person, and I'm afraid that I'll be one of those people that drops out at some point, and is forever cursed by the others. Or, worse, I won't understand all the rules, or how to pick, or when to pick, or when to change my picks... I admit to being completely intimidated.

DS, We love when you drop in unexpectedly!! It makes us very happy.

I'm not intimidated by you guys. I have a very bad habit of not asking questions and trying to just plow through things, so all those picks and players and rules scare the heck out of me.

SB, it's truly up to you (though we'll be badgering you about it until you join... :p ), but let me just tell you that I really do think you would do fine.

I joined about 1/4 the way through the season last year simply by making a comment to Plaw about Roger Clemens in their thread. The rest was history. BBC is quite an easy game to learn (especially compared to their Yahoo draft game, which, in my opinion, seems a lot more complicated), and we'll all help you if you have any questions. You could do like I did, and just spend the first half learning the ropes - then, after the All-Star break, you can show your stuff. I'm setting up a group for school friends this season, and I'll be helping a lot of them out since most aren't familiar with the game, so I'd be more than happy to help you with what I know, as well. You might even inspire Plaw to gain back his interest in the game if he sees he's got a new rookie to teach.

If it's a time issue, as for why you don't want to join, I understand. But don't let intimidation stop you, because I know you would have a great time. Think it over!

CS...shame on you! How can you possibly desert the game that is responsible for your nickname?! I don't know if I can even call you CS anymore... :p If you're doing Yahoo, you can certainly manage BBC.

Well, just because I have a husband, 2 kids, a house, a job, a cat, a dog, 3 fish, a bird, and a construction project going on in what used to be my backyard, what makes you think that it could possibly be a time issue, Gina?

Well, since you asked ( ), here are the best places to go for help:

How to Play - This is the official "How to Play" page at the ESPN site. It would probably be most helpful, because you don't have to worry about Plaw (or me) being too wordy with details.

BBC 2005 - This link shows when I first joined last season. Scroll down to the last couple of posts, and you'll see where Plaw gives a nice overview of the game with useful tips and information.

BBC 2006 - This is the thread for this year, of course. You can ask any questions there or here.

Like it says at the ESPN site, this is how the scoring works:

Quote:
Individual Batters: Run, Total Base, RBI, Walk, Stolen Base = +1
Pitching Staff: IP = +3, ER = -3, Hit = -1, BB = -1, K = +1, Win = +5
Pretty simple, really. You'll learn other strategies involving doubleheaders, rainouts, injuries, and so on, as you go along - the general playing of the game isn't very difficult.

OMG! Now I'm totally intimidated. Sorry guys, but I don't think I can hack it. I guess that makes me a giant wuss. Maybe it's just after all of those torturous days in gym class, I prefer to be a spectator.

Well, if you really don't want to, it's fine. Just thought I'd try to recruit you.

By the way, here I am watching Office Space on AMC, and I see that the following movie will be The Princess Bride! So, here's another chance to watch it, SB. I guess it starts at seven (central)...
