A young California woman was arrested for stalking child-actor Mike Vitar. While being dragged away by police officers, the woman, who goes by the aliases Zia and Lezbo, was heard screaming, "GiGi and SB MADE me!!".
The defendant's attorney, a Mr. Thomas Hagen, says that her defense will be brainwashing via the Internet. "She was living in a fantasy world, conversing with complete strangers via the Internet. They kept sending her photos of Mr. Vitar and telling her that, since she lived in California, she owed it to the 'other ladies' on the board to go find him. The whole purpose of this alleged stalking was to share recent photos of Mr. Vitar with these other 'ladies' that she has sworn some bizarre allegiance to."

That was gold, SB! And what's so sad is that I was already planning a reply to Zia regarding how she should definitely start a search for him and find us some photos or something...then I read your post and realized that you know me too well! This line: She was living in a fantasy world, conversing with complete strangers via the Internet. ...should be our motto here. You're right, though, Zia. Those photos do look old, and I'll bet he's gorgeous now. Maybe there aren't any recent shots available because he got tired of gals like us drooling over him...which means we have to take this into our own hands and send you on a mission, since you've got the best opportunity. And don't worry. SB and I will be sure to back you up in court.

I love the Indiana Jones series. I hear talk about a 4th one, and I don't understand how they plan on doing it. I mean, has anyone SEEN Harrison Ford lately? He's gotten much older, or is that something they've decided not to notice?
The Yankees had a good weekend, going 3 for 4. I was worried about them against Detroit, since they lost one to KC, and barely squeaked by last night against them. However, they played very well against Detroit today, although my Jeter was taken out after he got hurt sliding into base today. Supposedly, it was just a precaution and he's fine. Keep your fingers crossed!!

Maybe they'll have Jones sort of pass the baton to a younger guy...Johnny Depp would do just fine but is perhaps just a little too old and I don't see him taking what would would have to be second billing to Harrison Ford (who I agree looks absolutely aweful these days...I mean, somebody get the Chamonix !!). So if they go with that type of formula they'll probably get some young unknown who's got enough years ahead of him to continue with the series. Apple

Girls, in honor and preparation of the World Cup starting next week, I thought I'd post some pictures of soccer hotties... Here are two of our very own, from the USA team. Gives a whole new meaning to God Bless America. :p Carlos Bocanegra,#4-- He has the cutest dimples when he smiles! I'll find a really smiley picture and post it later. Pablo Mastroeni, #25-- Has his "off" days and his "hot" days. Here's a hot one. I'll post some more later on, along with some of my favorites from Italy's team and whoever else I remember. If you guys have any favorites, I'd love to see them!

Damn, I can't see Zia's pictures!! All I get are red X's.
Honestly, Beth, the Mets are having a great season. Even though I'm a Yankee fan, they're still a NY team, so am happy, especially after so many crappy years. I just feel bad for Mike Piazza. After contributing so much to the Mets for so many years, if they end up winning the World Series this year, that would totally blow for him.
Right now I'm watching Jerry Maguire. Mr. Babe classifies this movie as a "chick flick in disguise". He says that they throw the sports in so that guys will watch it, but that it's really a chick flick.
And the Yankees won in the 10th last night, thanks to a solo homer by Johnny Damon. Even with Matsui, Sheffield, Giambi and Rodriguez out last night and Posada iffy at best, they've played very well.

I didn't like it at all, and when I went to see it I remember wondering what the heck all the hype was about, as it and Cruise were getting rave reviews at the time. And to this day I'm trying to figure out what the heck Cuba Gooding, Jr. did to deserve an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor. Did he show them the money??? Apple
