Mama Mig, Thank you so much!! That was too sweet!! You know how much I love my Jeter! He really had a great game last night. Went 5 for 5, including a solo home run in the 8th. It was his 17th career HR in the postseason. And some people call him over-rated! Go Yankees!!

I read about the steroid thing too, it's getting crazy. Is there going to be no MLB left? SB, congrats on the Yankees making it, and winning yesterday! And Gi, I'm sorry about your guys. The Dodgers made it, but I haven't had time to see any of their last few games, neither live nor otherwise. I didn't even catch today's loss, except for a few minutes on TV at school, but I was on my way to class... what the hell kind of fan am I? Not a good one, this year. My schedule better lighten up before October 31st, because I'm not going to miss any basketball like this. I'll drop out of school if I have to!

Well, there are fans who hate other teams, but I'm not one of them. We have friends who are Mets fans, and they seem to take special pleasure in a Yankees loss. I'm really disappointed about the loss, but what can you say? It happens. I really thought they'd have no problem against the Tigers, especially after the first game, and after the abysmal August and September the Tigers had, but they certainly won, and with a vengeance. Although ARod has a no-trade clause, I suspect that he'll be gone in '07. And Steinbrenner can bitch all he wants, but the Yankees played to a full house all season AGAIN. I was unable to get tickets for this season.

SB, I hope you understand why I seem divided in my feelings toward the Yankees. As I said in the other thread, you and Geoff are the main reasons why I respect NY, because you're both such good sports and are always so kind to me. Regardless, I do wish things could've gone better for you, and I feel your pain. I think all of our guys are out now, right ladies? Who are y'all rooting for now? No offense to Yankee fans, but I liked Detroit from the beginning, just as a surprise team to go all the way. I also liked Zia's Dodgers. Beltran's keeping me from giving full support to the Mets, but man, have they got a good lineup. I watched some of tonight's game and, despite LA not giving up the fight, NY was just too tough. Just remember that, come the cold and cruel winter, we'll be wishing for any of these teams to watch! Despite the circumstances, a tantalizing photo for SB...
