I love this movie, but feel like a bit of a perv when I check out Benny the Jet.

Or, since this IS the internet, maybe you were posting from CA all along!! Maybe you and Zia were just messing with us, and were posting from the SAME computer AT THE SAME TIME!! How do WE know???

Edit: I seem to have inherited JG's talent for grabbing the top of the page!

Nonsense. He's suitable for all ages.

And even if that did make you a perv, I'm sure that Geoff and DM wouldn't mind you joining their group.

yeah

Well I had to get up early to make her breakfast.... [/b][/quote] If there's no ball game, Gi, we improvise. :p And for future reference, DM, a little more sugar in the coffee next time.

By the way, this is a better time, isn't it?

Well, for two that don't care much about baseball anyway, I suppose the season can get a little boring. :p

I don't kiss and tell either, I just imply.

Where's JG to have started the new page? I'm disappointed! Now that he's reached his 17,000, he doesn't care anymore, that's what it is. :p

Zia, I hope that the coffee was brought to you in bed on a tray. When we were first married, I made Mr. Babe Eggs Benedict and brought it to him in bed. I even made my own hollandaise sauce from scratch. Well, in I bring the tray and he just looks at me and says, Appreciate it, but I don't eat breakfast in bed. Too many crumbs!

Gina, Benny's eyes are ALMOST as dreamy as JG's.

Um not only did I bring her breakfast in bed, but I even fed her as well

Mr. Babe might want to get out the notepad....

It's so funny how much effort people put into a new marriage... hollandaise from scratch, and everything! My aunt was telling me when she first got married, she used to starch her husband's shirts herself instead of taking them to the dry cleaner, she used to have dinner ready for him when he'd get home, everything... Now she makes him take the laundry to the cleaners, and pick up some dinner on his way home!

DM, you FED her as well, like a mama bird and her babies??? How sweet!

No, definitely no more breakfast in bed for Mr. Babe, but I do still iron his shirts and cook him dinner. And it is usually waiting for him when he walks in the door. But we're still newlyweds, so that's ok.

Gina, I know what you mean about Benny and the lack of legs, but at least there are several shots of him running AWAY from the camera, if you get my drift. Btw, this movie does take place in the summer, why AREN'T they wearing shorts??

So, you cut up her food for her, treating her like a 2 year old?? You'd better learn to dance.

OK, I'm going to pose a question to the other ladies here - How do you feel about dating a guy who doesn't even slow dance??

Why couldn't a woman have directed this?!

Yes, The Great Hambino!! NOT the one we want to see in shorts!! But I missed the 4th of July scene, which is my favorite, playing sandlot ball to Ray Charles, with the fireworks overhead.

I prefer to call it romantic, that way she didn't have to get out of bed and cut her own food.....you would have loved it.

And if she's sleeping then I don't have to worry about dancing......I plan on getting through life on my good looks

Isn't it funny how watching that scene gives you flashbacks of your own life?

yes, because I played sandlot ball all the time, and Ray Charles would occassionally appear live, and then we would have fireworks overhead.

Zia, I was debating the dancing/no dancing issue with someone, and I was just curious if that was important to other women, or is it just me??

He did that for you too

I just meant the feeling of summer, like for me it was playing basketball in the park. I won't get into the "feelings" because women don't like to hear about men's feelings

Hmmm... I wouldn't NOT date a guy just because he can't dance, but luckily my boyfriend (not DM, the other one... :p ) is a really good dancer, so I don't have to worry about it. And it is nice when they can, isn't it?
