Well, there are video's which include them (partly) in the movie. For example the Saga. But it's not a video with only deleted scenes.

BTW Move to DVD Collection SC/JGEOFF

You could also try and find the "Godfather Saga" on videotape somewhere...its basically GF I and GF II edited into chronological order, with some if not all of the deleted scenes added back into it. (You could also try taping it when its on TV)

Glad to see everyone like the avatar...it's nicely optimized at a low file size so it doesn't take long to load, but it looks better when the file size allows for more colors and resolution. Oh well, it looks nice in its lowest quality anyways. Although the little black lines on the flag aren't supposed to be there, but appear when it's viewed as an avatar on this site...but it's ok.

Anyways, about the Saga on VHS...I have never seen it, but it is on TV (usually on the cable channel Bravo) probably once a month. So you could tape it, if you are dedicated. You might need more than one tape for best picture quality (or if you can connect your PC and record it onto the hard drive, wow, you could burn it onto a DVD and have it in your collection in pristine condition.)

Double-J
cool

Good day, dudes and dudettes, the movie in question, 'The Godfather Saga' is NOT available on vhs or any other format. 'The Godfather Saga' was an NBC dealy that aired in 1977, cut in chronological order with additional scenes and an alternate ending.
'The Godfather: The Complete Epic 1902 - 1959' is a 3 video box set released in 1981, which also had both 'Godfather' movies in chronological order. It also has almost an hour of unseen footage scattered throughout the movie.
'The Godfather: The Complete Epic 1902 - 1959' was upgraded to include 'The Godfather Pt. III', it was renamed 'The Godfather Trilogy' in 1992, again with a few more unseen footage. Both 'Epic' and 'Trilogy' are still available on vhs. Rumour has it 'Trilogy' may get the dvd treatment in the near future.
So, the 'Saga', which you keep referring to, was only edited for television, it is not available anywhere or in any format.

The films suffer (imho) in chronological order, because FFC designed GF II to deliberately contain a parallel story of father and son. When shown chronologically, I don't think they stand up as well as they do together.

As far as the Saga- I usually see it broadcast on the Bravo station...
