I am a Toon fan & nobody has to tell me how much Newcastle have spent & how we have won nowt for centuries!
I am critical of the board & manager as are many fans but at the end of the day we turn up & support the team cos thats we do & always have done!
Owen might well be making a big mistake coming here but i'd rather see him up front than Shola Ameobi?
And i have just watched 30,000 fans at St. James just there to "greet" him!
He'll not get that passion anywhere else...
course he'll probably not get too many medals either
