Edited: I just saw your posts. Thank you, boys. Yes, it's nice to know we'll have home field advantage for the next three (not having it certainly didn't help us here), but God, it would've been nice to have this game. For once, everything looked good. It was still dangerous territory, but Viz, a guy I would never have expected, stepped up, and all we had to do was hold on and get one more run. And I would've loved to have had it 1-1, and I would've considered it a 5-game series with home field advantage. Oh well. You can never count this team out, and I won't until they are.

Scott Podsednik will never have to pay for a beer in the state of Illinois for the rest of his life..The Astros will win game 3 though.

To your earlier question, I'm staying neutral for this series. I'm not a White Sox fan and even if my championship in the playoffs bracket fantasy game requires a White Sox win, I still won't root for them unlike other people (cough) Plaw (/cough). :p

I have my family in Houston and you cheering for the Astros so I can't root against them. On the other hand, I guess I also have to have hometown pride, so I can't really root against the White Sox.

Frankly, I'm more interested in my fantasy football team.

That's some good reasoning you've got there, CS. And putting aside fantasy (baseball) interests, even? That's admirable.

But it's not football's turn, yet (in my book). And when it is, I'll be counting down to Opening Day! (By the way, what with my Chemistry class and all, I've come to realize that you're an element. Cesium, that is. Cs. :p )

I'm ashamed to say I will not catch Game 3 tomorrow. Sorry to sound like a Band nerd, but we perform at the marching contest that we've been preparing for since about July. I've organized a joke rebellion, telling everyone we're all going to skip it, but my director would probably literally be ready to kill us if we did.
