Whatever it was, it wasn't satisfactory though; that's why I wound up registering a second team under a different name.

Um, excuse me, Mr. "Lucky To Ever Win Anything Here", but my problem occured the 4th or 5th day of the first week, and while I was unable to correct it, I was able to bypass it by creating another entry.

If you were in the lead at that point, it wasn't by much, and I haven't missed any days nor am I offering any excuses for not winning.

So make sure you leave me out of this.

Now, if you want to talk about DM making excuses 'cuz he's losing, I'd absolutely agree. :p

BUT - I must object to the "Mr. Lucky To Ever Win Anything Here"!! I do have more wins than you, as listed on the top of the Sports forum. (And, your choosing not to play a particular game or two or more cuz you can't win doesn't preclude you :p )

What? Golf? Horse Racing? Nascar? Bass Fishing? :rolleyes:

I derive no pleasure from playing games that I know nothing about simply to earn "Uber Points" (Whatever they are).

If I enjoy the game, I'll play it even if I do poorly (See three years of Yahoo Football and my lifetime W-L record of 16-26).

You play everything under the sun because of those stupid Uber Points (Whatever they are), so you're bound to luck into a few wins every now and then, particulalry because the fields are small and the other participants know very little about the particular sport involved either. :p

Maybe one of you can help me out with this.

I just had them reset my password, when I go to login I put in my name (I even tried with email address) and the new password and it goes to the same page with the fields blank

If I recall correctly, that's exactly what happened to me.

Just re-register with a different name as I did, and forget your original entry (as I did)

Why do they require your address to register? What do they do with it, do they send you a bunch of junk mail?

I haven't gotten any, and I've been registered with them since last year.

I didn't read their privacy policy, though, so I don't know what junk mail I might be getting from other sources because of them.

I was going to, the same night I got into the other one and tried to get into Yahoo... but the address thing put me off. I'll read their policy, good idea.

I'm actually enjoying this game very much.

Figuring out which seven guys to use each week and then figuring out how to plug each of them into a different day is a bit of a challenge.

I don't understand what the problems are either , but I still can't access my original entry .

Sorry, final papers and exams are coming up and I don't have much free time, the fact that I had to make a new entry completly slipped my mind. I'll see if I can do it tonight.

Are you paying attention to match-ups when you make your picks, or are you just happy to figure out a way to get each of the seven guys you want every week slotted into a different day?

If it's the latter, then this game is mostly luck, 'cuz I have a feeling that we're gonna pretty much wind up with the same seven guys every week.

If it's the former, I better start paying closer attention, 'cuz I'm not really considering matchups.

If I told you my strategy, I wouldn't be in first much longer. :p
