Yep, and I love it! The one thing that stands out the most - Martin Sheen's screentest for Michael Corleone is the most horrible thing I have ever seen.

I can't believe they were actually considering Robert Redford to be in GF!!! Talk about a miscast.  I don't remember, was it for Vito or Sonny that he was considered?? TIS

TIS I thought it said Michael. But Pacino was clearly the best choice for Michael. Everyone else seemed so out of place, then they'd show one of Al's screen tests and it was like "theres Michael Corleone." Maybe that's because he actually did get the role, and did a great job, but I think it has a lot to do with his incredible acting ability, and he was simply perfect for the role.
