All I can tell you is that I was in Sams Club today in southern New Jersey, and they had a big display of the 5 disc Godfather DVD's for $50.00. Check out your local Sams and see if they have them. I might add its not in the orginal box set, the DVD's are in a smaller package. So if that makes a difference to you, spend a $100.00 and get the boxed set.
Wal-Mart, and its affiliated Sam's Club, sometimes censor some of the movies and music they sell. This one (in different packaging) MIGHT be a sanitized version.
Barnes & Noble, a reputable bookstore, has a website from which you can order books, music and movies, and it sells the "Trilogy" DVD set for $67.48. I'm sure there are some cheaper prices around; take the time to look for them.
