Hmmm - she is California - in school and finishing up her studies ... sounds familiar

Are you and Lezbo getting hitched ??

Oh man - I should have seen that one coming - well all the best to both of you - but that is surely gonna make PL mad. Don't worry though - I'll make sure he doesn't ruin your big day, besides I am sure there will be plenty of young stuff there that day to wet his appetite .... and from his PMs - his appetitie is quite insatiable. But don't worry - as long as I am there he will not ruin your day. Of course I need my invite first and all but ....

And a bit of advice - keep your distance from Bruno - if you know what I mean.

I have two entries - there might be a way to use one for both, but I couldn't figure it out, so I just made another account.

It's probably for the best - I'd hate for the school friends to somehow find out about "Willy's Winners."

Aww - thanks - that made me feel all warm inside ...

Edit: Oh you meant just those that were playing huh ...

Anyway - just caught your earlier post - so you really think I would get cut from the guest list ? No way DB would do that to me - I am still preparing as if I am going, working out to look all sharp in my suit - is it Black Tie - I look dashing in a bow tie ... And to your song - I know that one, by the Trammps Disco, that`s where the happy people go
And they`re just dancing along
To a perfect song at the disco

that's an old one though - have not heard that on the radio in many years. I may need to download that now.

Is it wrong of me to think of that song, "We're going back to Cali, Cali, Cali/We're going back to Cali, Cali, Cali" everytime I hear the word "California". I don't even know where that song is from.

My fiancee goes to Berkeley.

Hey, I remember that song!! I haven't heard it in like 15 years though. I thought it was LL Cool J but my sister's saying it's Biggie. I think Big's is a different one though. The LL one is the one that goes, "Hmm, I don't think so."

Wow....

I haven't had to say this in a long time (brings a lump to my throat, a tear to my eye, and a pain to my neck):

"Can we please get back to business here?" :p

Thank you.

Friday's Scores & Saturday's Probable Pitchers
Code:
DB ^ 223 Sea ( 03) 38 261 Hou Oswalt 1-0 0.00
JG 240 Bos (-02) 16 256 Hou
CC ^ 209 Ari ( 12) 44 253 NYY Big Unit 1-0 1.29
TM ^ 223 SaD (-08) 23 246 Hou
PL 206 Sea ( 03) 29 235 Hou
DC ^ 178 LAD ( 23) 49 227 Mil Davis 0-0 3.00
JL 200 Sea ( 03) 19 219 Hou
GG 212 CWS (-20) -10 202 Hou

SC 85 StL ( 02) 13 098 NYY
Somehow CC's pick of Ortiz worked out OK; yesterday's other questionable pitching picks all bombed.

Hernandez was OK, except he only pitched 5 innings and gave up a bunch of walks. Then his bullpen gave away an extra 10 points or so at the end.

Meanwhile, the cream is rising, with DB taking over first, JG hanging in at second, and PL and JL closing the gap (Well, JL didn't really "close the gap" any yesterday - actually he dropped 2 points further out of first - but that sounded good, anyway).

CC and DC (our lone rookie this year) and TM (because he hasn't missed any days yet) continue to surprise; GG with negative pitching points 3 of the last 5 days is sinking like a stone; LZ doesn't want to play yet (still concentrating on her Fakers, so she says); and SC is singing the "My Baby Left Me Doing Poorly 'Cuz I Started Three Days Late" blues.

What's wrong with taking Saenz?

He could possibly play both, altho I doubt it...but I figured WTF, I'd give him a shot. I remember him doing something good once or twice last year.

Saenz day-to-day (altho "not serious") VS Thome or Thomas or Ortiz?

Well, I'm sure your shit will end up smelling like roses anyway... but still! :p

He'll play at least one game....they need him 'cuz half the team is injured.

None of the other DHs today particularly stood out to me, so I rolled the dice.

BTW....do you know the answer to the question I posted in "Help"?

BTW - Ryan Howard is gonna knock the skin off that ball tomorrow!! I used to watch him locally at the Phillies' Single-A park, and he stood out -- and last year proved himself. Just like when I noticed Shea Hillenbrand at Trenton a few years back for Boston... mark my words!!

(We all have him, so even my jinx won't matter! :p )

I liked him last year. I remember I was taking him a lot.

He still has to hit lefties better, though. His platoon differential was huge last year. Right now I would only use him against righthanders in this game.

(What am I saying? Divulging strategy tips here? )

I love the guy, Possible MVP this year. Lock him in now while his value is low and keep him in there all season, even when the Phillies are off.

(There.....I feel much better now )

G'night.
