Quit your bitching. You, at least, got included in the odds. [/QB][/QUOTE] What are the odds of that?

It is incredible how many good and bad contracts there are in the major leagues. Who would you rather have: - Miguel Cabrera @ $472,000 per year or - A-Rod @ $25.7 million per year? Miguel Cabrera's next contract will be a huge one, I imagine, as a make-up for his rookie contract.

Let's be fair here and make the distinction between "excuses" and "reasons". "Excuses" are, er, uh, ah....well, "Reasons" are, um, er... Well "Reasons" sounds better, anyway. Besides, I never said I would've won this game if not for the missed days. I said I would've finished second. And I never claimed I'd win every game we ever played if not for my "reasons"....just baseball and basketball. Just want to set the record straight here.....

If he had any kind of track record of being able to play a full season or half season without missing any days, I might agree with you that at those odds he might be the best bet. But since he doesn't...... Of course, if he did have such a history, the odds would've been lower and possibly not looked as attractive.
