You're down by about 220 points, so you're certainly an underdog.

And 220 points in this game is 220 points - no projections, games in hand, or any of that stuff to muddy the waters.

But 4-1 is fair odds, I think.

If you don't think so, make me a counter offer.

I mean, if I said I was giving you 50-1 or 100-1 (which I won't, of course) I'm sure you'd take it.
here 'ya go....

You just shaved a load of points off my lead, and I'll still give you 4-1 odds.

Don't tell me that in a game of skill you don't have enough confidence in your chances of catching me that you think that your chances are worse than 1 out of 4.

Or, let's reverse it.

You give me 4-1 odds, and I'll bet that I beat you by more than our current difference over the rest of the season.

Don't tell me that that in a game of skill you don't have enough confidence in your chances of beating me with a lead of 180 points or so that you think that your chances are worse than 1 out of 4.

Or take both bets.

Tell 'ya what.....

I'm so confident that I'll take 3-1 odds instead of the 4-1 that I'm offering you.

How can you say "No" to that?

"Difficult....not impossible"
