Fantasy Football=Fantasy

I have enjoyed being in a keeper league the past several years, but I have to agree about trying to make fantasy sports too much like the real thing. This isn't a game of Risk, it's fantasy sports. The league should be about the particular sport you're playing, not trying to turn every owner into Bill Walsh. The only strategy should be knowing the league's scoring system and knowing which players will perform the best according to that scoring system. That's the skill in fantasy sports, IMO.

It's like the difference between playing poker with real money versus fake money. The game will be completely different, even though they're both poker games. If you're good enough to play with real money, then step up. If not, then deal with the fact it's not real money. Fantasy sports aren't going to be an exact duplicate of real sports.


There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.
