Don Sicilia OP Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 7,361	Great draft last night guys! I think I speak for Plaw as well (for the points league) but in case we didn't say it earlier... In regard to waiver position: We will not be doing it the way Yahoo regularly does it, which is a cumulative positioning initially based on one's draft position. This year, we are trying something new. Every Tuesday (around the time plaw or I post scores), we will reset the waiver position to the reverse order of whatever Yahoo places us in the standings. For the Head-2-Head league, the standings are sorted by winning percentage, then points. For the Points League, standings are by points. This way, players lower in the standings are given a better chance to improve their teams. During the week, if teams make waivers, the movement in waiver position will follow standard Yahoo procedure. I know this sounds a bit muddled, but really, it's pretty straightforward in practice. As for Week 1, the waiver position will be by reverse order of draft position.

(Edit: Oops...looks like JG beat me to it..... ) As far as the updates on the scores for the Points Only Yahoo game, I'm not going to be able to update them all that frequently for those who don't have StatTracker - like at halftime of the 1:00 PM games, then again at 4:00 PM, then again at halftime of the 4:00 PM games, then at the conclusion of the 4:00 PM games. Possibly an occasional post with an update, but I can't commit to more than that, as DB and JG have done in the past. If I can, though, I will post the scores as of Monday morning, with the players left going into the Monday Night Game (Which I'm gonna go and do right now). "Difficult....not impossible"

I can definitely guarantee you a Tuesday morning update, I can almost guarantee you a Monday morning update, but beyond that, I can't guarantee. To those that don't have it, I definitely recommend StatTracker - best $10 you'll spend.

I'll try to keep my team active, but last minute changes, like Duckett all of a sudden being out and screwing me in a different league, I might not get to. If this affects the league I apologize. For whatever reason, the internet filter at my school blocks foxsports and yahoo, yet allows me to get in here. You figure it out. That is the reason for my lack of participation in all the ESPN fantasy games I signed up for. I was supposed to have internet as soon as I moved in, but apparently that is too much to ask of someone without an education above the 6th grade. :rolleyes: There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.
