Puzo did work on the GFIII script.

it's possible. i really have no idea myself, but i have read on here that ffc came up with the ideas for gf3, but that could have been an incorrect statement.

Puzo once said that FFC re-wrote the script written by Puzo. And he was not happy with that. Puzo rated the movies in the same order as they were made (ofcourse first part being the best wink )
