Apple, you 're right. With Tom available as a character and with Duvall in the cast, many holes in the plot wouldn't exist and GFIII would have the potential to be a really good film. Too bad that Duvall's (reasonable) financial demands weren't accepted and we had to put up with George Hamilton .
