Just finished watching McMahon. Overall, it was an entertaining look into the life of Vince McMahon, but it was a tad disappointing. I wish they would have included more on his days as ring announcer. As is, it jumps from Vince, Sr. naming him as the new announcer, they show a few clips of him...well...announcing and interviewing, and then it jumps to Survivor Series '97! The DVD isn't so much about "Vince McMahon, Chairman of the Board" as it is about "Mr. McMahon, ruthless, sadistic son of a b*tch." That isn't necessarily a bad thing, mind you, I just felt that more information on his earlier life should have been included. Basically, there isn't very much new information on the DVD. Everything I saw I already knew. But I still recommend it to anyone that's interested...if only for the matches. There are 3 Austin vs. McMahon matches, HHH vs. McMahon, Hogan vs. McMahon, plus 5 more classics.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987) This film stars Steve Martin as an uppity advertising executive who, on a flight home at Thanksgiving, finds himself bumped from first class and forced to sit in the tourist section next to a boorish and emotionally needy shower curtain salesman (John Candy). When a snow storm in Chicago closes the airport, the plane is routed to Wichita. These two ill-matched travelers find themselves stuck together for a series of misadventures on the road. Writer and director John Hughes draws out very satisfying performances from Martin and Candy. With its abundance of slapstick sequences, this film will definitely hit home with all those who have experiences the frustrations of travel. 4/5
