Okay, we start with games tomorrow night!
Let me just get this clear:
We have 82 Max Games for each spot in the lineup. How many games does a team play in a season?

Wow, that's it? Okay, thanks. It just seems much longer cuz the season seems to go on and on and on (and on)

Commissioner UpdateSince this is our first trade, I don't know how Yahoo handles the trade wait time for Commish-approve-only leagues. For the Zia-Ice trade, before I approved it, it said that the trade will go into effect on Friday, Nov. 3rd. When I actually approved it and checked Zia's and Ice's roster, it showed that the trade will be effected starting tomorrow, Nov. 1st. Obviously, that is a pretty big discrepancy caused, I think, by when I actually saw and approved the trade (something I didn't want, but I guess that's the reality I'm in now). By our settings, I have up to two days to accept or reject a trade. I'll try my best to see trades within the first 24 hours but if I don't, I apologize. After I approve a trade, we will follow Yahoo's process period. My guess is that trades are processed and effected the day after when I approve. I'm sorry for the confusion. I wish Yahoo was a bit more automated and user-friendly when it comes to trades.

My lack of smileys in that post may have made it come off as mean, or bad attitude or something... what I meant was that the Commish shouldn't hold back just for the sake of being nice, that I genuinely want to know his opinions, if he has any. Yeah, re-reading it now, I see it kind of looks like, "Yeah? I wanna hear what you have to say, come here, I'm gonna kick your ass." Totally not what I meant. It should have had a more "genuine concern" mood to it. Maybe I should have had pink font or something.

...approved the trade (something I didn't want, but I guess that's the reality I'm in now). What didn't you want? The time thing, or the trade itself? Because if there are any concerns about the trades, I want to hear them... I'm not going to think anyone is being tyrannical or anything. I'm talking about the timing issue. The trade was fine. My problem is that because the date trades are effected now depends on when I see and approve the trade (my guess is if I approved your trade tomorrow, it would have gone into effect on Thursday), it puts me in a position that in the future, some managers might say that I didn't see their trade fast enough or I saw it too fast and that they wanted it to go into effect on this date or that date... Does that make sense? If it was up to me, if a trade is accepted by the parties on a particular day, it will go into effect three days after, no matter when I approve it (e.g. if a trade was accepted at 10 PM Monday night, I have until 10 PM Wednesday night to approve it and it will go into effect by 10 PM Thursday night, whether or not I approved it on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday). Yahoo's system doesn't work this way for Commish-approve leagues. That was probably TMI, wasn't it?? But in any case, I was fine with the trade, Zia.

That is a lot of power to be in the hands of one MARRIED man who might not always have access to his computer......if I doop JG into trading me Lebron for Speedy Claxton I want that thing approved A.S.A.P. and Lebron on my roster asap. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go propose a trade to JG haha

"Has anybody seen her?" "Oh no!" (I wouldn't even think to read your message that way! )

We have 82 Max Games for each spot in the lineup.
Which means if you try and play every possible player each day you will run outta games. Season ends April 18th, so do the math and adjust accordingly folks! Happy Halloweeeen --The Doop

I have a question... Do you get points for players on your bench? Or do they just not count at all? And if they don't count-- would you still see how many points they would have gotten you? And what about Util? Same deal? If they're on your bench, they don't count (they didn't "play" on your team). Util players did, so of course they count. And yes, if you look at your daily pages, you can see all the points your players earned (or would've earned had they been active)...
