The Slippery Slope
This was a game we were playing a year or two ago.

Someone gives a clue describing a character, the next player guesses the character and gives a new clue.

The "fun part" of the game is to make your clues as cryptic as possible.

You wouldn't, for example, give a clue like "He was the Don of the Corleone family" or "He was Michael's older brother".

Anyway, here's an easy one to start with:

He was on the hook

For the "strong and 'silent' type", Mig, I was thinking of Mike's bodyguard, Buscetta.

That's a slight problem with this game, BTW. Sometimes a clue could be applied to more than one character.

For "He tested the durability of the table" I'm gonna say Don Zaluchi, who banged on the table at the Don's meeting.

New clue:

He did nice work

"Nice work" was Lou, Sollozzo's driver.
Clue: He did the "Tighten Up" in the Fifties (like Archie Bell and the Drells in the Seventies). wink

He would eventually be known by the same name in the 70's as the sicilian message he discovered indicated.

Could've been Moe Greene....could've been the guy that Calo gave it to in the eye in GF III.

I was thinking Paulie or Rocco for yours, DC, but I figured paulie 'cause he could've used a gun, while Rocco already had one.

Maybe not the ears themselves but what you do with them??

Minor character from Godfather II

Tom: "They shot Sonny on the causeway...he's dead."
Michael: "Turnbull is a good man"
Shane MacGowan: "It was Christmas Eve babe, in the drunk tank"

BTW, the character who did the "Tighten Up" was Jules Siegel. I know he was in the novel, not the Trilogy, but I couldn't resist. tongue
