I believe that was Strachi? It may have been Cuneo, I always tried to remember Cicci and Cuneo but then I realized that theres Clemenza too, who shoots the other unknown, so Im not sure if thats right.

If so...

This person shouldve opted for a cot.

Hmmmm.....

If Woltz had been sleeping on a cot, there would have been no room for Khartoum's head to join him there.

Tattaglia was killed in bed with, presumably, one of his prostitutes. There would have been no room for her in a cot, either.

Vito's hospital bed was rather cumbersome to move; it might have been easier had he been on a cot.

Also.....

Clemenza is shown sleeping on a cot, I think, in the montage scene after the Sollozzo/McCluskey killings.

Vincent has a "bed" scene with Grace.....Fredo is shown in bed with Deanna.....Michael is sitting on the bed when eating dinner with Kay in her hotel room......Michael's Havana bodyguard makes his attempt on Roth's life while the old man is lying in a hospital bed.

I don't like my answer, but I guess I'll go with Woltz. ohwell

In DELETED SCENES, Michael actually kills Fabrizio (sp?) for the murder of Appolonia.

Plawrence, sorry about mine, I knew it was vague but I couldn't come up with a more specific one that I felt didn't give it away.

It was supposed to be Keinszig, because assuming he was sleeping on a cot, there would have been no pillow to suffocate him with. ohwell ohwell ohwell

My apoligies, anyway...

This person should've emptied their cash register.

Genco's father.

She didn't like the way men of Italian descent treated their spouses.

... and I was just going to post that it was Frankie Pentangeli. He was dozing off in a chair at Anthony's First Communion party, and Willie Cicci had to wake him up (just before Senator Geary's speech). If he had been on a cot, or even on one of those reclining lawn chairs, he would have been more comfortable. wink wink

but anyway, mine's still waiting for a guess:
You could see his tuxedo a mile away.

Was that Al Neri (he had a paper bag containing a gun and badges in the baptism crosscut)?

If so...

He would have been the "big cheese" ... but he ended up like "swiss cheese."

The answers to the last two are

Vincent (gnocchi)

Johnny Fontaine

This person mixed up his wife and Michael's.

Is that Genco (who had to open the door for Signor Roberto, who was too nervous)?

If so ...

Carlo gets all choked up in his presence.

It could have been Genco, but that's not who I had in mind.

OK, was it Al Neri? (He closes the door on Kay at end of 1st GF, then Geary tells him to "open that door son" as he exits Michael's office in GF II.)

OR was it Willie Cicci? (He kills Cuneo in the revolving door in 1st GF, then Pentangeli asks him in Italian to get the door as they leave Michael's office in GF II.)

OR was it Michael? (He stands guard at the hospital door when he finds Vito alone in the 1st GF. Before that, he also moves his father's bed out one door and into another. Also, in GF II he shuts in the door in Kay's face... but that's 3 scenes; don't know which 2 you had in mind. cool )

Is it any one of the above? If so, mine's still open: Carlo gets all choked up in his presence.

Is that Al Neri (navigating the motor boat on which he and Fredo go fishing)? -- although I'm not sure if starting the motor and steering are technically "navigating." smile

If so...

If you go fishing in Long Beach, you might hear him snoring.

No, Neri wasn't the navigator. He's more of the pilot.

Clue: From GF III

Yours, I'd say, is Luca.
