So I guess we're waiting for Senza Mama ( "Did she say anything??") and MM Tom Hagen { "He thought every day was Halloween") to tell us if our guesses were correct. (I have to agree with Don Corleonne on the Halloween one -- Johnny Ola and those pumpkin-coloured suits!) In the meantime, dontomasso, I guess it's your turn -- if you're still on the boards -- since you made the most recent correct guess.

Very clever, Senza Mama. I was racking my brains and Theresa Hagen never occurred to me -- I guess because I didn't realize she was in GF3. (GF3 is not my forte .) And now to MM Tom Hagen's clue: This person fancied themselves an occupation counselor for the entertainment industry.MMTH, your hints certainly keep me on my toes; you remember all the details . I'm going to say Vito because of his influence in that regard: getting Johnny Fontane out of his big band contract, then into a movie contract, etc. If that's right... You could call him a real "spin" doctor.

This person fancied themselves an occupation counselor for the entertainment industry.
Clemenza, telling Paulie he could be a dance judge?
Pentangelli, telling the bnd what to play at Anthony's party?
Tom, telling Woltz about his start graduating to heroin and how he could clear up his labor troubles?
Geary, introducing the Sierra Boys Choir?
Tattaglia, running his nightclub?

it was Clemenza to Paulie Knew youd hit with one of those, right? We'll wait for Cristina to confirm or deny my guess then.

Yeah, I tried to phrase that one in a way that it was specific but not impossible. Guess I'll have to work harder to outsmart you. Nice job

I'm going to be a little devil and keep you in suspense by giving you another hint first . (Yes, I'm bad today .) When people say "Let's go for a spin," what are they referring to? ... and this person didn't just take himself for a spin, but two others as well. ... and it was in GF1. Did that make it any easier?

Mignon, it is one of those. But guess which one I had in mind? The word "spin" is significant here. You could call him a real "spin" doctor also denotes that something is literally spinning. With that clue, Mignon, can you tell me which of your two guesses is the right answer?
