I also cannot name just one... But here are some favorites, in no order:
Something Eleanor Rigby Come Together I am the Walrus Here Comes the Sun While My Guitar Gently Weaps A Day in the Life
I think an easier question would be "Favorite Beatles Album?"... Mine is arguably Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

There are very few I don't love, but if I have to pick a favorite it would be "a Day in the Life" simply because it was an instant piece of classical music (an lyrics), and it clearly established the Beatles as the best musical group of their age.

Way too many to choose from. Off the top of my head, in no particular order:
Yesterday Hey Jude Norweigian Wood Eleanor Rigby Rocky Racoon Ob-La Di Helter Skelter Nowhere Man And I Love Her Come Together
One of my very very favorites is "Day In The Life." I know I left so many out, but that's a start.

Why not? Hell, he's an attractive man. I'd hit it.

Reminds me though, I also like Maxwell's Silver Hammer. A very strange song, but kind of catchy nonetheless.
Of course, speaking strange, what about Revolution #9 #9 #9 #9 #9 #9.....I think I pretty much memorized it right away!!! Btw, that's John's voice right?????

Confused,Perplexed,Bewildered. A thesaurus of emotions.
Actually, this was the cover of a birthday card from a couple of years ago. As many people know, I save just about everything.
So where ya been, TIS? On strike? It's safe to come back now, "The Troubles" seem to be over!
But it is just so difficult to actually come up with a Beatles song I can say is truly my favorite. Perhaps because I lived through their entire active period, it becomes a case of "so many songs, so many particular memories".
But if I do decide on one special song, I'll return here and post it.

I'm sorry I'm lazy for not reading all of the posts up to this point, but did anyone say "Hey Jude"? That is my favorite.. then again I really like Blackbird also.

This is the first thing I thought as well... but then again if you could take the top 2 or 3 songs you would listen to, which would be the first you would listen to? For me I like Hey Jude and Blackbird as my top two... but I think I would always listen to Blackbird first, so I would have to say that is my favorite song (surpisingly even to myself).
So if you took the top "bunch" of songs and chose the first song you would actually listen to, which would it be?

Sure, a 'bunch' come to mind immediately when The Beatles are even mentioned. Some I enjoy simply for the lovely harmonies more than the song itself.
But..Far too many to pick one favorite.
