Aw, plaw is just miffed that he didn't guess your clue on the first try like he does with everyone else . Now here's mine: Imagine the damage this person could have done if they possessed the skill of the Turk.

You're both wrong . But you are right, dontomasso, in that the key element has to do with being good with a knife. There's another character who wields a knife that neither of you have yet mentioned. Would you like another hint?

I'll take that to mean yes, you'd like a hint . dontomasso, just concentrate on this fact: This is a major scene in GF1. It's not an obscure 10-second shot of people using their knives to eat dinner. If someone told you the answer now, you would raise your hand to your forehead and exclaim, "Oh, of course! How could I have forgotten that?" So it's not hidden or minor. Just think of the major scenes in GF1, and it will come to you .

I meant that Fredo lived and died where the Corleone family was, whether the family estate was in New York or Tahoe. And, because he was always assigned menial tasks, he may have felt that he was taken for granted and that the family was accordingly ungrateful. But since that's not the right answer, my explanation is only to show that I realize that Fredo never lived in a lake .

Is it Khartoum? (lived in a stable, died in a stable -- but his head had a nice resting place ) Is it Moe Green? (lived in Vegas, died in Vegas -- a very ungrateful place if you lose all your money) Is it Michael? (lived in the mafia world; died in his own lonely world)

Ah, of course! Moe Green! I forgot all about the Roth speech. Poor Moe; no recognition for making Las Vegas what it is. Answer to Lavinia's is Michael (couldn't tell Kay he loved her with his mob cronies around ). If that's correct, here's a new one: He'd never be a spokesperson for Kodak.

Yes, either Barzini or Sonny is the correct answer. You guessed them both, so double points for you dontomasso (but of course, we aren't keeping score ). Now for yours, let's see... I gather that this person didn't follow Clemenza's order, so I will say it's Frankie Pentangeli. Clemenza promised the Rosato brothers three territories in the Bronx, and Pentangeli reneged when he took over. (For purposes of this game, I'll assume that Clemenza's promise was an "order" for his successor to follow .)
