dontomasso, just concentrate on this fact: This is a major scene in GF1. It's not an obscure 10-second shot of people using their knives to eat dinner. If someone told you the answer now, you would raise your hand to your forehead and exclaim, "Oh, of course! How could I have forgotten that?"

So it's not hidden or minor. Just think of the major scenes in GF1, and it will come to you .

Ha ha ha. I meant that Fredo lived and died where the Corleone family was, whether the family estate was in New York or Tahoe. And, because he was always assigned menial tasks, he may have felt that he was taken for granted and that the family was accordingly ungrateful.

But since that's not the right answer, my explanation is only to show that I realize that Fredo never lived in a lake .

Now for yours, let's see... I gather that this person didn't follow Clemenza's order, so I will say it's Frankie Pentangeli. Clemenza promised the Rosato brothers three territories in the Bronx, and Pentangeli reneged when he took over. (For purposes of this game, I'll assume that Clemenza's promise was an "order" for his successor to follow .)

Apologies all around. My clue was tainted, and I have edited it. The following of a certain order Clemenza gave was a good thing in the first instance, but when the same order would have applied to someone else it was a bad thing. CW you are assuming the second person in the equation took orders from Clemenza. It is the nature of the order given on which you must focus.

So I gather that when this person followed an order to kill someone, it didn't turn out to be such a good thing. I also gather that Clemenza wasn't the person giving the order.

I'll say Al Neri because when he followed Michael's order to kill Fredo, it haunted Michael for the rest of his life.
