Apologies from me, too. Hope you had a great day. And, here's hoping for a better 2007! Signor V.

I am very happy to announce the birth of my third grandchild! Born yesterday to my daughter and son-in-law was little Evan Scott (The first male grandchild). He weighed in at at 7 lbs 12 0z and is 19" long. A truly beautiful baby!!! Mother (although very tired) and baby both doing great. There's nothing quite as beautiful as holding a brand new life in your hands. Awesome!!!! Thanks for letting me share!! TIS

Thanks guys!! Yea, it's so exciting. I went with my daughter to to doctor's on Thursday. The doctor examined her and said, "I'm surprised you're still walking." The baby was so ready that he told her to go to the hospital on Saturday at 5:00 a.m. but thought she'd have it even sooner. She had no real symptoms to speak of except some not too bad irregular contractions I've been at her house the since then watching the other two grandkids and trying to help her out by cleaning, cooking, etc. so she wouldn't have a lot to do when she got home. Can you believe they now release you 24 hours after delivery??? I can't get over that. She delivered yesterday at 2:30 p.m. and was home today by 2/3:00. I do admit however, I am exhaused!!! TIS

I'll be your friend. I have tootsie roll pops. You can't turn down tootsie roll pops. It's like comparing Christ to a hobo; it's ineffable.
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Did you ever have one of those days? So far, 2007 is turning out to be one of those YEARS!! I want to crawl under a big soft comforter, pull it over my head, and not come out for a looooooong time. I always have found that I do better in odd numbered years than even. Hang in there, SB. It's always darkest before dawn; Each day presents us with new opportunities; Our troubles are seldom as big as we make them out to be; treat yourself to a hot fudge sundae and add an extra scoop of ice cream...I'll be happy to post some other cliches when I think of them. For Capo, plenty of rest and liquids, along with the self pity will help that runny nose. Chins up, Buckaroos.
