I was trying to make a Corleone family tree, but I don't know about Vito's Grandsons. For example:

Has Fredo got any son or daugther?

How many sons has Connie??

What about Tom childs?? I only know about Andrew.

I have looked for the Corleone Family Timeline, but I did not find the answer for my questions.

The breakdown for that generation:

Sonny's kids
Twin daughters Rosary & Anne Marie (also named Francesca & Kathryn) born in 1937
Son Frank born in 1940
Son Santino, Jr born in 1945

Michael's kids
Son Anthony born in 1951
Daughter Mary born in 1953

Connie's kids
Son Victor born in 1948
Son Michael Francis born in 1955

Tom's kids
Son Frank born in 1940
Son Andrew born in 1942
Daughter (unnamed) born in 1953
Daughter (unnamed) born in 1957

Also, Sonny had an illegimate son (with Lucy Mancini) born about 1948.


Fredo did not have any children.

Good thread, I have a question:

Other than GFIII, we have no mention of Tom's kid's names. Where did this come from? Who came up w/ the idea of Sonny and Tom naming their sons the same? For that matter, who came up w/ ANY of Sonny's children's names? I don't remember any mention in the novel. EDIT-Prolly dumb ?

(I have NOT read the novel 250 times, nor any of the smut work.)

Who named Sonny and Tom's children? Should I double-check the novel? Only Sonny's Frank and one of his daughters is mentioned by name in the movie. The daughter's name revealed in a deleted scene in II of course.

EDIT-(I suppose I could research on my own but that's what a Godfather message board is for.)

I think the fact that the DVD Bonus Disk has that info is sufficient for us.

Sufficient for me too, SC. I was just curious about the production process in general, I guess. FFC/Puzo came up with these names and then inserted them at later times*, obviously.

EDIT-*Inserted them after the movie became such a phenomenon. There would have been no reason to name them if the movie had only been an average hit.
