Mig, I don't live in Manhattan, so I always enjoy going "to the city". There's so MUCH to see and do.
DC, You are just TOO mean!! Now, tell me the truth, how much fun would Clydz be without me?? OK, don't answer that! Of course, if you keep this up, I just may have to drop a call to Mrs. Cardi and make shoe-shopping plans!

Sadly I've never been to AC either "Sadly" -- being less than 2 hours away -- isn't the right word...
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

Are you guys seriously thinking of making a pit stop to Manhatten one day? If so maybe I'll hook up with you somewhere. If you do, just don't eat at KFC/Taco Bell. http://www.comcast.net/news/strange/inde...p;cvqh=itn_rats

If you do, just don't eat at KFC/Taco Bell. Oh, the neighborhood is classy We've got rats as big as Lassie!Looked at the article - well, there goes my appetite! Hmmm...maybe it was just a private party? Whisker Lickin' Good? Seriously, there are plenty of decent places to eat in NYC that won't cost an arm and a leg. ("Here's a wing!" Been watchin' too much Goodfellas.) Signor V.

Are you all going to visit Little Italy? Well, I guess it's Chinatown or something now though, right??! I might be interested in coming if y'all had it planned out like an itinerary with a little structure to it, since I really don't know anybody here. You know, somebody could even slap a label on it like The Godfather's tour of New York and make a little money on something like this! "Three days in New York/New Jersey with your very own Godfather tour guide, Angela Marie" or something, yada yada.... Send it to the local tour operators..... I dunno. If I knew some people here I might come, I always enjoy New York and New Jersey. Have a great time. Angela, You're never going to get to know some people here if you don't come to one of these things! The only way to get to know us is to come to one of these things and meet us. Otherwise how are you going to get to know anyone? I've posted this before in the past. Back in 2004 when they had the golden age of gangster's convention in Chicago, several of this crew decided to go. I had never met anyone from here and therefore did not know anyone. Even as a man I was somewhat apprehensive about meeting people from the internet. But I made up my mind to go. I figured that the worse that would happen was that if I didn't like these people, I'd check out of the hotel and either fly back home or go to another hotel. No big deal. After spending an hour with these people, I felt like I had known them my whole life. I can honsetly say that when that weekend ended, I could not wait to see these people again. Obviously you've seen that we've gotten together every year since 2004. And for the most part the same people that met at the first weekend have continued to attend year after year, with several more jumping on board each year. I think that alone is testimony in itself as to how well we all get along, enjoy each other's company, and look forward to getting together again. Seeing how the same people look forward to attending these weekends year after year should in itself remove any apprehenshion or doubt that you may have about joining us for this weekend get together. I don't think that anyone here was more apprehensive than Sicilian Babe was about attending last years weekend in Philadelphia, and now we can't seem to get rid of her! As for an itinerary with a little structure, you probably missed these earlier posts : [align:center] Y4th Annual GangsterBB Weekend being held Friday PM to Sunday AM, August 17th-19th, 2007, at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick, New Jersey. If we go to Harold's for Friday night dinner, then it seems for Saturday night we're between Italian and Spanish food so far: Nova Terra seems like a wonderful Spanish restaurant with prix-fixe menus, but for the sake of selection and personal preferences, we'll likely order individually off the regular dinner menu. The Italian option so far seems like Panico's which looks great as well, and highly-acclaimed. As for Saturday activities, this day could be left open to whatever anyone wants to do: - Explore the New Brunswick area (shop, see a show, visit Rutgers, etc) [pdf]
- Visit the race track
- Visit the Corleone home on Staten Island
- Take the train into Manhattan/go on The Sopranos tour
- Relax at the hotel pool or fitness center
- Join Bogey for a burger at White Rose!
- Eat/drink all day at a fine local hotspot
- Anything else you wanna do!
If I missed anything, I'll update... Although we are still 6 months away, perhaps we should get an informal head count on which sounds good to most people. how are these options so far to everyone, and which would you prefer? So please state your preferences, even if you think you may attend... Hope that you decide to come.
Don Cardi Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.
