so apparently even the home heating works better when its warm, 40 degrees and i could have the fan going and window open and it was still warm. the other day it would have been a freezer in here. My mother insists upon the notion that I can't be trusted to adjust the heat on my own, so she turns it down to 40 degrees when she goes to bed. Which is fucking fantastic, because she goes to bed at 9, and I am a chronic insomniac.
