Ronnie, one day, someone will come along and kill that bug that is so firmly inserted in your butt. Until then, why do you constantly feel the need to antagonize anyone you disagree with? I've seen you do it with Irish and this is not the first time with DMC. Get over yourself and your delusions of cinematic grandeur. In your eyes, I'm the asshole. In your eyes, Don Andrew is my associate in crime. In my eyes, DMC is being a jackass. In my eyes, you're his sidekick. 9:10PM And the winner for best supporting actor goes to Ronnie! Don Cardi
Don Cardi Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

I wasn't being an asshole, I was simply stating my opinion, I didn't care for The Departed and didn't feel it was Oscar worthy, do I have to pass some kind of test in order to voice my opinion. Or should I be like everyone else here and just follow the Hollywood types. I found Babel to be a great movie, and far better than The Departed, but if that goes against this thread maybe I should start my own I nominate DC to be the Commissioner Babel was good and I'd say it was better than Flags of Our Fathers but my personal opinion, they're both inferior to The Departed. However, I do also subscribe that United 93 was screwed!

see Irish, too bad The Marine wasn't nominated, I actually liked that movie too, much better than See No Evil Glad you enjoyed it. Personally, I enjoyed See No Evil more (I'm more of a horror fan myself AND it was the first WWE movie and it surprised me how good it was). But I did buy The Marine and there were A LOT of explosions in it as well. I'm looking forward to WWE's third film, The Condemned coming out in April staring Stone Cold Steve Austin

I don't see what you saw in The Departed though, it seemed very basic and easy to figure out what was going to happen. I didn't see the big "thing" with it after the first viewing (plus I had already seen Infernal Affairs so I knew what the movie was about and how it ended). However, after a second viewing and a possible third shortly (I'm in the mood to watch it, ESPECIALLY if Marty wins tonight), it's grown on me. And yes, movie types does play into it too I think

The Condemned reminds me too much of a Van Damn flick though.
See No Evil was good, I thought it was going to be cheesy but Kane pulled it off well, and you actually believed the character. I thought the ending wasn't that good though.
I liked in The Marine where they said about Cena being like the Terminator and the guy who was driving (I forget his name but he was in T2) his eyes rolled, that was great lol Although I could have gone without seeing him jump out of what, 4 exploding buildings? I agree, I thought Kane did a very good job. I don't really remember the ending (it's been a while since I've seen it), but again, it really surprised me how good it was because I thought it'd be cheesy too. And yes, the Terminator joke in The Marine was great. I always think of Robert Patrick as the T1000
